Theres an 'unbranded' nissan gasket set you can get....cant remember the name of it, its not one from nissan, but more like the contents of a nissan kit (every genuine nissan gasket not cheap shit ones) with a different brand name on it. They cost a bit under 200 from memory.. Comes with a standard head gasket, but just buy your own and sell the nissan one. Works out cheaper than the Tomei kit.

How bout you buy a complete GTR, and remove the whole chassis from under the body, unpicking the thousands of spot welds, so youre left with the complete drivetrain inc suspension. Do the same to the Z and simply slide it under and reweld! Sure it might be different in trackwidth and length (no idea about that), but that can be taken care of with a quick cut and shut and some wheel offset. Easy! .....easier than making ATTESA fit into the Z chassis.

A 33 Vspec is nothing special. The price for this car is very reasonable, except its a shame that such a rare car has so many ks on it. As RedEmbled said its a collectors car, something to be parked away in the garage and driven on occasion. Good luck with the sale, i bet its a painful one.

Yeah you need to reset the timing after you change the ex cam position, even if you put the cas back in the exact same spot it will be wrong because you have shifted the cam. Set at 20 base.

Doesnt the mesh serve purpose to break up the air so it is easier for the afm to read it?? divides it into smaller 'pieces' instead of one big block of air?...but once again im running no mesh on GTR afms and everything is fine... Go the z32 thats what u bought it for..id think the mesh makes no diff at all.

Well i just found the dimensions i wrote down before i did my respray...i thought i had lost them! So im assuming that i had the original paintjob with the badge in the original place.... Anyways: A = 45mm B = 35mm I stuck it there and it looks fine!

I fitted mine up today and all i can say is....QUALITY! Easy to fit and very well machined etc etc easy to read the advance and retard markings....a genuine 'straight fit' item! Great work r33kid!

I can see there would be endless hours and endless dollars in that one! But who gives a shit its all well worth it, and look at what you have finished with. Very, very nice, Possibly the best Zed ive seen!

Hey all, *** I had this posted in cosmetic and styling mods but no one really reads much in there... Im putting my GTR badge on my boot and im hoping someone can help me out as to where EXACTLY to place it. I really want it to be in the original spot! If possible can someone with their original GTR badge fitted give me measurements A and B in the pic shown.... All help appreciated! Mat. ....and yeah its a real GTR....not a gtst
