Ive had this catback lying around for ages now, time to clean out some more stuff... Consists of 3 inch mild steel piping with a large hotdog midway, finishing with a Mangaflow Stainless rear muffler with 4 inch tip. This came with my car unfitted, and never have fitted it; so i dont know what it sounds like. Im guessing it wouldnt be too loud or drone too much with the hotdog in there. You can get ball joints from Nissan, genuine, they are $120each. They had to come from Japan though. Just call up and tell them what you want. Id would probably do both at the same time too.

Maybe try adjusting your boot latch, the part that is mounted on the body not the boot. It is movable up and down. The only place the filler cap release mounts to is the small white plastic nut on the inside of the small compartment where the little catch is. I know i was confused when i was fitting mine but thats how it is.

Yeah its a belt. You can also buy a product from CRC i think, its a non slip sticky spray on stuff for belts. But you shouldnt need it. Just tighten them. Thats what i did when i had the exact same prob as you.
