Fair enough but where does the RED or orange actually come from? the smoke is grey...it somehow contains RED or orange particles?? Maybe we just put it down to some sort of phenomenon?

Does it have to be purple?? I bought a 'HKS style' cap off ebay for 25 bucks....but i got a silver one with a red centre that says HKS...

The only big words i spotted were 'refracting' and 'particles' haha. I still dont really see how it would work but i guess it does so thats it.

I was having a bit of a family discussion today, and now im wondering...why is the sun red or bright orange when the bushfire smoke is grey? Shouldnt the sun just be..well grey and not as bright as usual? why orange? Is there some scientific explanation for this? Does anyone know?

Well hows this: I called Vicroads a while ago before mounting my number plate on the side and the person i spoke to said anywhere is fine just as long as it can be seen 35 degrees from each side. 35! But then again if u call up vicroads 3 times you will get 3 different answers. u cant win!

You have to cut the pipe, theres no other way. You also need to make sure the pump assembly is the same length as original. If its too long, and say the pump is sitting ON the bottom of the tank, thats no good becos then there will be no room for fuel to actually get into the pump!

Haha yeah its a real bitch! But it can be done. I actually did everything before the motor went in, but i guess thats not always possible for everyone, but then i had to remove everything off the intake side anyway because i had a leak! Not a fun job at all. You need a good set of tools, small hands / arms and ALOT of patience.

Thats bs! GTRs will always be a unique and rare (or rarer) than any GTS, and be more of a bigger deal when you see one or own one. Have fun with your GTR, its definately an experience. Pics or ban!

Ye same. Last nite was pulled over for the first time on Canterbury Road near middleborough for breatho and licence check. Asked me to run thru my details: address DOB etc etc checked i had p plates on n that was it, on my merry way. He was polite and he didnt even look at the car at all, mustve been one of the very few officers i hear about who dont hate skylines...

Have dealt with a guy from there for a few parts here and there, cant remember his name tho, quite a while ago. But very very friendly and more than happy to help.

Markyboy i would love to know where you got those blue rocker cover breather hoses from...or did you powdercoat those as well! They look awesome! Hi-filled and 2pac engine covers in a brilliant white, a couple of polished parts here and there, most other bits and pieces i bead blasted; plenum, manifold, master cylinders, wiper motor, pods etc etc. The paint was done by the panel shop who did the paintwork on the rest of the car.

Me too. On takeoff there is the tiniest bit of spin from the rears and then the front hooks in. Also when i bang it into second i always get chirps as well. But my transfer has 4,000km on it and was fully rebuilt...spent 6k! I thought that was the way its sposed to be? ...and yes has been bled blah blah...

Except the skirts need to be ALOT lower for the look to flow.... But yeah definetly tough from the front! GL!

A pod is an important thing (or any air filter) its the life of your turbo and engine. By the sounds it seems that u want to skimp on cost for this. Maybe wait until u have more coin n get a decent one that at least filters well.
