  1. Fuel reg SOLD! Injectors and Rail kit still for sale
  2. Very true. No rims, keep it quiet and drive it sensibly and thats the best you can do!
  3. Sounds like a plan...could you PM me some pics when you are done? That would be great - i need some ideas! Thanks.
  4. So say for instance you could build a clear perspex box for it and its legal? Probably isnt the same for VIC though.
  5. Probably will be making a nice box to stick over it...cover it with the same stuff as my subbie box, "its part of the stereo sir" haha. Thanks.
  6. Hmmm I think ill be going with the original idea, i was just reading the DIY 044 in GTR and it sounds like ALOT of pissing around...alot of things can go wrong and many have had problems doing it, id rather leave the stocker in there where it belongs and add in the 044 externally. As for the fuel lines ill prob go the 3/8 later on, the factory lines will do for the time being. benigno have you had any problems with having the surge tank visible? is your car on the street or?
  7. So for the moment, having 300kw, the standard lines will be ok....ill probably put in the surge tank as a precautionary action for the 044 then everything should be sweet. Correcto? Still wondering about where to put the filter? and also what have people done to try and hide the surge tank? might build a little box to put over it... Thanks for your help everyone!
  8. Hmm well see this is what confuses me: whats the point of having a high pressure, high flow pump if the standard line can only flow so much?? (up to 300kw no more ive been told) I guess everyone has been told or knows different figures / opinions.. Yeh i got the fuel rail - lovin the bling! Still way :S
  9. Hey all, Ive searched and read heaps but I still have some unanswered questions... Ive been talking to someone in the know today about fuel systems, and have suggested for me to run a surge tank and 044 in my GTR. The current power im aiming for is around 300kw, for a mostly street driven car (weekender) and odd track day / drag. Chances are ill be chasing more power later down the track too. Now it has been suggested that i change from the factory fuel line to 3/8 aluminium pipe - is this overkill? no one has mentioned much about changing it in past threads.. Planning on using the usual setup - stock pump feeds surge tank, 044 feeds rail, this means ill need to change the fittings on the rail too (aftermarket rail and FPR), worth the trouble?? And also, where should i be mounting a filter? between the stock pump and surge? or in between the 044 and the rail? (that would mean i need an expensive one with dash fittings) Just would like to know what others are using, and whats a good idea to try and hide this stuff? Thanks, Mat.

  12. Hey mate good to hear your cars coming along. Does it HAVE to be genuine? After my car was painted the guy that put in my windscreen used some generic seal front and rear, almost looks better than the genuine one lol. PM me if u want his number, he does a freakin mad job.
  13. Your ECU has logged a fault.
  14. Yeah...this really needs to go...
  15. SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! Hey peoples, Need to get rid of the "High Performance" mechanical boost controller that i bought the other week. Was going to put it in but bought an AVCR before i did. This is a bleed type controller that uses a T-piece that runs in the actautor signal line. Its brand new, hasnt been used before and i do know how to connect the parts of it, so installation is easy. Just want back what i paid for it: SOLD Located in Melbourne, can post i dont mind. Mat. 0400 558 030
  16. Yes i bought this as a setup, so the rail fits the rochester injectors. I dont see why it wouldnt fit your SARDS, its not a 'rochester specific' rail, its just for RB26...so i guess any aftermarket injectors would fit. Id say you have a bit to play with, you can use different seals etc. And yes the rochesters just dont fit into the standard RB26 rail.
  17. Hey Everyone, Had big plans for the GTR that now arent going ahead , so time to get rid of some stuff: Basically i have what is needed for a decent fuel system setup! All this stuff is brand new in original packaging, Never Used, just took it out to see how it all went together. Siemens LOW inpedence injectors X 6 >> $110 each Pro-fit Engineering Fuel rail kit for RB26 (Gold in colour) >> $270 Aeromotive Billet Fuel Pressure Regulator (2 Outlets) >> SOLD As far as i know these injectors dont fit the standard rail because they are American made (different size) they fit straight into the manifold though. They still plug straight into the standard loom too (UNLIKE SARDS)! The fuel rail comes with all necessary fittings and mountings, it has an inlet at each end and one outlet in the centre for a return line. Included in the fittings are optional Dash 6 and Dash 8 for the rail inlets. Will post anywhere, at buyers expense. Can deliver in/near Eastern Suburbs if needed. I Also have the ideal pumps for this setup. see sig link. PM or call for quicker response Thanks, Mat. 0400 558 030
