  2. What do you mean by drivers door unit? Is this the small black box located inside the door near where the armrest is?
  3. Nar havent got an alarm but will soon. Thanks. Anyone know anything else more specific? Could it be my door lock timer? The car has done it ever since its been going...wiggling around wires and connections has no effect either.
  4. Hey everyone, Got a quick question....and yes i searched for ages....when i operate the driver's window, up or down; the passenger door always locks itself. Im thinking this may be normal, and its always done it, but its a freaking pain in the ass! Is there any way of making it not do this? Like cutting a certain wire or something like that... In R32 btw.... And no i dont want to disable the central locking all together either. Any help would be great, Cheers. Mat.

  9. Yeah 6k sounds a bout right, theres alot of bits that need to be replaced; bumpers, guard, rear light, it all adds up. You did a good job on the quarter! even if it was pulled out or replaced either way thats the most expensive task.
  10. To an extent. The 044 can be fitted into the tank no probs, the cradle requires minimal modification, and you will need two fittings for the pump, one for either end; and because the 044 is an external pump, you will also need a sock for the IN side of the pump to allow you to fit it internally. Hope im not too confusing, you should probably have it fitted by your mechanic. PM me. Mat.
  11. Well, the final chapter to the story. I picked up my car this morning, fitted with the Compliance Plate and all the stickers and everything...it all went well. Sam at JPV sourced all of the paperwork that was needed to do the compliance, we did end up needing the Japanese Deregistration papers, but he sorted it all out. Im so very excited, now all i have to do is get a RWC and reg. and my beast will be hittin da streetz... Good luck to all that are/will be in the process of Compliance, and thanks for everyones help, Mat. P.S Cannot recommend more::>>> Japanese Performance Vehicles, Bayswater, Vic. Talk to Sam.
  12. I picked up my car from JPV this morning. I spent 8k on the paintwork and cant find a single scratch or anything like that (not that i would expect it) but they really looked after me and my car, made the whole process very easy and understandable. Sam knows exactly what hes talking about...i cant recommend him enough.
  13. Have added one more pump to the list. Others are still for sale to by the way.
  14. Never done it but u probably can. Dont see why there would be that much difference. Cut/strecth it if u need to!
  15. Because you have different profile tyres, the front wheels are turning at a different speed to the rear. When the 4WD system senses this is will put torque to the front wheels, which is what its sposed to do. Put the same profile tyres front and rear.
  16. Still have both pumps for sale everyone! 040 $225 044 $250!
  17. Yes VERY nice bloke, has been most helpful during this difficult process. Was your mate satisfied with the work they did?
  18. A place in Bayswater called Japanese Performance Vehicles. They are apparently one of four workshops in VIC that can do this work.
