  1. WOW is all i can say about this weekend. Friday was awesome having a few drinks and talking garbage, was damn good as usual. Doing timing on the long wang was pretty good; having the quick guys absolutely roaring towards you mid 3rd then having the car step out slightly coming into the gate under brakes pointing towards me was pretty breathtaking It was also good to see the little differences between the quicker guys...i may have noticed a few things that will help so WATCH OUT next time! Also having a ride in Pauls GTR, freaking crazy; Leons 180, awesome; and Timmy and Campbells, pisser; was seriously awesome fun. Some really good slides happening there. Loved Shanes 4 wheel slides Saturday night....pwoahhhhh....2 spiritus shots (thanks alot Kieran!), great RSL food, 33 $4 dollar vodkas in one go, boobs at Rawhide, what more do I need to say... Definately a standout deca weekend...and I didnt even drive
  2. No dont do this....it will be laggy as FCK! Terrible combination. HKS 2530...should be able to pick up a s/h kit for ~$1500. A little pricey but its the best solution IMO for 200-220kw. Itll be the most responsive. Oh, and dont forget cams gears.....20's LOVE them.
  3. Haha youre funny Russell. I guess having DECA shots tomo night will cause people struggle with the whole event. Haha im funny Russell.
  4. haha fark thats sooo not as easy as ABC!
  5. Hey dudes, For sale here is my Trust GTR Intercooler. Not far from new condition. The core measures exactly 600 x 304 x 96 - lots of surface area. It is infact a R34 GTR item as it incorporates provision for the intake temp sensor, but this could easily be suited to 32s and 33s by making up a plate to block it off - 5min job. Some minor damage on the fins as you would expect, nothing to stop it working well though. No other damage. Inside is absolutely spotless. No oil and carbon grime crap inside. The outside is pretty mickey too. Will show pictures soon. This is one of the most efficient and effective coolers to upgrade to. Will support big power as well as not so big. Located in Melbourne but can freight if needed. $800 Cheers, Mat. 0400 558 030
  6. My 32 GTR knock sensors never worked either. Dont know why. Tried new sensors, loom continuity, all good. The factory knock sensors should never be relied on anyway. To tune it on the road you need a knock box. Theres no other way. Either that or you need a proper dyno tune by someone who knows what theyre doing.
  7. I have a 2way that will suit a R32, you may be able to transplant into other housings though if needed. PM if interested. Cheers.
  8. I have a 2 way if youre interested? Melbourne also. Will remove cover to show the 2way centre. PM me if interested.
  9. I think possibly youre forgetting the fact that alot of helpers are friends of those entered or going up for a look. In this case these people are not actually active on the forum. I know for a fact one of my mates came up for a look last time and ended up helping, he isnt part of this forum. He will probably help again. Of course it would be wonderful if all of the spots could be filled prior to the event but you cant really expect not to have the chase people on the day.
  10. In. Im only doing timing Sat so that doesnt really matter.
  11. PM 'Drift SX' for T25 turbo. Hes in Melbourne east as well!
  12. Must go...may have to pay for third engine soon!
  13. I reckon Henry is dear as poison. He used to be good but not anymore. He quoted me $380 for a Defi Oil Temp Guage!!!! Crazy. I bought all my others off him for much much less. Nengun was < $300 delivered and about a week turnaround. Nengun is the shit, seriously. Cheap and quick.
  14. Not on the days we work on the drift car so it doesnt matter.
  15. You dont deserve to know!
  16. Nah man gonna take our time and do it well. Plus theres like HEAPS to go. Slow and steady wins the race.
  17. We still do. Hey Leon the Drift car cranks over and we got oil pressure! Were really very happy about it! With no thanks to Russell me and Campbell did some work on it... Just a couple more weeks and it should be running
  18. Put the turbo in and see if you have any dramas before deciding to do the extra work? We always do the 3076s with 3" hard piping and 3-4" reducer at the turbo and never have any problems. The factory arrangement should provide enough air mass not to disturb the AFM if/when the compressor surges. Different turbos have different flow characteristics though. I say just give it a shot first then tackle the problem IF it arises.
  19. I could probably do some timing on the pan in the arvo if needed. Hit me up on the day Bec.
  20. Sif you wanna drive it. Youll hate it. Understeery, boaty, heavy slab of a skyline compared to your little agile thingy.
  21. just quietly i think Russell will be slower initially though
