  1. Search function is your friend buddy. Took me ONE MINUTE: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...Z32-t69487.html Get your multimeter onto your current AFMs to find out which wire does what and away you go.
  2. Like its been said, remove the balancer and check with the timing gear on the oil pump. You do know it is possible for the rubber in balancers to come adrift and rotate slightly dont you? Why are you checking the cam timing? Are you looking for a problem or just trying to create one? P.S theres no way one tooth is 5deg on the balancer, think about it.
  3. Thats very unfair that you offer to pay more money despite the fact that 2 people have already been in before you and said they will take them. If you want auction hit up ebay. Hopefully the seller is genuine in selling to first in best dressed. Do you have any pics of the speedster wheels?
  4. Usually broken too haha.
  5. Can you PM me your best price for the PFC please. Cheers.
  6. Ah FARKEN MAD Bas! Car looks mint!! Good work!
  7. Beautiful wheels. Shame they are scratched to the shithouse.
  8. Bonnet is SOLD pending clearing of deposit. GTR Bonnet Latch Vertical Support up for outright sale - $50 Support is in Midnight purple.
  9. The closest thing would be a D-MAX bonnet, except they have a huge bulge at the rear near the windscreen. In my opinion the bulge is ugly. Fitment wise the GTSt and GTR bonnets are exactly the same, except if the GTSt bonnet has the front part that hangs in between the headlights. The only difference between the two is the position of the bonnet catch. This bonnet will fit straight onto a GTR if it has the original OEM GTR bonnet catch vertical support, the part the actual latch bolts to, I can confirm that is fact. No hidden catches. Shipping OS is fine with me, please let me know your area code and preffered freight company, as the one I usually use does not ship worldwide.
  10. Nice work guys, I have questions: Why use HKS gears? They are notorious for slipping and destroying engines due to the flawed 3-bolt design. I dont understand why you used a second hand water pump? When you have gone to all the trouble of even buying new bolts and parts etc, this isnt a cheap build? A noisy CAS? You know if the bearing seizes it could ruin your camshaft? What welch plugs are those? Steel or Brass? Oh, and for good looks grey 3-bond would have been better just being pedantic because Im guessing you would be too haha.
  11. You know? The one at 100kph?
  12. Hey guys, Ive been collecting bonnets lately so time to offload this one! Its a T2 Style Carbon Fibre Vented bonnet from Carmate which has been professionally painted black. You can slightly see the weave under the paint. Its a very light bonnet and awesome for cooling! The bonnet is immaculate, no chips on edges or scrapes or cracks, its as new. The paint itself is mint but has slight cracking on the RHS on the front of the vent but is barely noticeable. I only saw it because im pedantic It has just had a nice dose of Meguiars Polish too! Its very good quality and it actually lines up nicely with the edges of the guards and headlights. Dont take too much notice of the pics ive posted, its not shut properly because I had the GTSt vertical support installed at the time, so the bonnet wasnt engaged into the latch. This bonnet suits the GTR bonnet latch vertical support (short one), so Im offering mine to the buyer if needed. Located in Melbournes east, interstate buyers welcome, can arrange freight anywhere for about the $50 mark. Asking $700 for the bonnet, $50 for the vertical support. Will only sell the support seaparately if buyer of the bonnet doesnt want/need it. Cheers, Mat. 0400 558 030
  13. LOL @ all the people who think this is a serious thread!!!
  14. I think its silly that you even considered buying from him. With the amount of customers who have had the EXACT same thing happen to them...plenty of contact all up until payment was made, then nothing...its expected the same thing would happen to you, so you shouldnt be surprised, nor complain that he has stolen your money, because essentially, you knew this was going to happen.
  15. Well sometimes thats what it takes...public defamation is the last straw if you arent getting anywhere with PMs, calls, and emails, they deserve to be exposed, and why would someone make accusations such as GTRSTI has without reason? I think people who arent involved should stay the f**k out of it and let it be settled by the Mods and those who are actually involved, no one cares what you think or say.
  16. Modifying the synchros in your gearbox does not increase its strength. The role of the synchros is to match the speed of the input to the speed of the output so as the gears can engage. The gears themselves and shafts are the parts that actually transfer the power through the gearbox, not the synchros.
  17. LOL How can you possibly tell just by looking at the outside??? 2 Options: -Pull the diff centre apart and look for identification numbers etc. -Spend 1/2 Hour and install it and drive it.
  18. I also have the HKS GD Max Twin Plate. I got mine second hand then had it rebuilt by jim berry with 3-puck solid plates. Its pretty noisy but I love it! The solid plates make my gearbox rattle and chatter and sound like a diesel truck under 2,000rpm. Doesnt bother me though. Its very driveable, not too heavy, not too bitey, but when you dump it, its insane! Never missed a beat. I used to have an exedy single plate 5-puck with 320kw, it never slipped but it 'welded' itself to the flywheel countless times...the last time it did it I ripped it out and put the HKS in because I couldnt un-stick it haha. Id never use an exedy ever again. Were about to put an OS Triple Plate in my mates 33, will let you guys know the results.
  19. Mmm thats a hard one! Does it join into one at any point in the system? Could be a Kakimoto of some sort, but they usually have markings. Its definately not a HKS Dual Racing. How are the welds etc? Are there welds at every bend? If so its probably custom. If its all one piece without welds except for at the flanges itll be a jap factory exhaust.
  20. Sounds good.
  21. Hopefully your gear is a good enough brand that it wont cause issues or wreck your engine (possible breaking of bolts, it has happened on cheap gears). All you do is replace the existing exhaust cam gear with your adjustable one. Since the VCT is on the inlet you leave that one alone. Yes its best to do it with the 100k as they will remove the cam gears to fit the cam seals anyway. You could get a gain of at least 20kw in the midrange, boost will come on earlier and you will get more power overall, its very very worth it. A tickle-up of the microtech will make the most of the gear too. Exactly where to set the gear is found by trial and error on the dyno.
  22. Thanks alot for the PM back you stooge!
  23. Awesome day! Was the first time iv had a ride at a drift day and it was fantastic! Russell you really did some good driving! We did a few awesome laps but then the unfortunate happened! Oh well, at least we got it running turbo or not haha. Time to get the slide hammer and porta power out! Might need a sledge hammer as well! jk Saw really good driving from TETS (TITS on the day LOL), the silver 32, and the white 32 was really good too. Best was the dude in the VL wagon! Unreal!
