Well if you actually read the whole thread you would find that what has been discussed is that the 2530 is too small for the RB20 to achieve good top end boost. What makes you think it will be any better with an extra half a litre to flow? So any ideas on how we can modify the turbo to flow that little extra?

I also have the same clutch in my car, going from single to twin I had to actually make a longer pushrod from the slave to the fork. Reason being the fork sat further back and my slave piston was about to pop out. It wasnt a huge change but just enough. Might be your problem. What thrust/carrier did you use? This could also be a problem. Call Jim Berry, he should be able to tell you straight away but you need to know whats in there.

250kw is a fair bit for a 20, in this case you cant have good response/midrange. Look in the RB20 Turbo upgrade thread. Most of your answers are in there. A 2530 is too small for 250kw.

Why wouldnt you just buy a GTSt specific PowerFC?

Yeah nar youre right Troy, no matter what we did it remained open. Another thing we noted is that as soon as the boost started to drop, the manifold started glowing slighty. Its being strangled....the turbs just isnt big enough. 230 is a pretty good number from that turbo...Russ is happy to sit on that for the moment. Turbo or Engine upgrade Russ?
