  4. Just drop a N/A SR20 into it.
  5. Hmm ive got one of these lying around...didnt know they were worth so much!
  6. BAHAHA COP THAT! Thats what you get for not servicing your car.
  7. HAHA His engine seized due to water going into the intake? I find that hard to believe. Would maybe bend a rod but not seize. A nice legal way to do is this if youre that set on a pod filter: Cut big hole in bottom of airbox - 3" Cut big hole under airbox into chassis matching airbox - 3" Get some 80mm or 3 inch flexible rubber tube connect it to the afm using pod adaptor Run the pipe from the afm through the hole to behind the front bar Mount pod filter with stone/water guards Modify the top section of the airbox to suit Close airbox You cant see the tube from the afm going under the airbox - its looks standard. Did this on a mates car and fooled cops every time.
  8. GO back to NS please. ..and im sure you shouldnt be on SAU at school, youll get into trouble with the teacher.
  9. Big difference! Thats why 34 turbos are so popular...everyone hi-flows them for their 33s to make decent power. Depends what you want...good midrange or good top end. Obviously the 33 housing will run out of puff sooner than the 34, but the 34 will be slightly laggier. If your hi-flow turbo has a larger rear wheel you cant just swap housings, the 34 housing will probably need to be machined to suit.
  10. Well it probably wouldnt be the pressure release valve in the pump, otherwise youd have huge oil pressure and wouldve popped an oil seal in the engine out by now. Were the -5s new? If in bad condition could be the seals like you said, but probably not. Check the pipe that goes from the P/S rocker cover to the intake pipe, see how much oils in there. If theres heaps, could be a ringland or something. Check compression. Typical scenario with old-modified RBs
  11. Just one external difference. The water oulet at the rear d/s of the block that goes to the heater is a little different from the 33 one.
  12. Regular Tridon Worm Drive Hose Clamps and Turbosmart 3" Silicon joiners. (yes even though GTR pipes are 3 1/4") HKS Hard pipe kit. 1.5 - 1.6 Bar of boost all day, no dramas EVER! Never ever had one pop off. I usually squirt oil into the head so it tightens up nice and easy. To eliminate the clamps cutting into the silicon, I have smooth bevelled-edge rings on the inside of the clamps with 2 little ribs on the inside. Why spend so much on flancy bling-clamps when regular clamps used properly do just fine.
  13. AVS Wheels now with tyres removed, can be painted any colour of buyers choice at my cost. That means no chips and as new condition! Cat SOLD - Pending payment
  14. What the hell did you people get up to?!
  15. Another awesome DECA! Cheers to all organisers and volunteers, turned out to be a fantastic day and great weather too! Was good to meet some new people and see everyone giving it a good shot! Ive got tonnes of video footage, what/wheres the quickest/easiest way to upload? ..and only 12 weeks till the next DECA, thats crazy!
  16. Had dramas with the earlier units, one thing you can try is to put a restrictor into the signal supply line to the solonoid/actuators. It may be a case where the solonoid cannot purge off enough signal to allow the actuator to remain a little more closed (higher boost). D-Jetro? Is it strictly a track car? For 330kw? Even stock afms would cope with that.
  17. Have fun driving to DECA by yourself...it doesnt open until early sat morning so you'll be waiting a while LOL Ill be heading to Shepparton out from Greensborough at about 6:30-7:00pm tonite.

    Spotted Thread

Spotted a nice blue 34 GTT yesterday at 5pm on North Road, nice colour! Had SAU sticker only on the drivers quarter. Also a purple 33 GTR going down FTG Road at about 5pm a couple of days back, stuck in traffic. Had dishies.
  19. I hope you one day are in the situation that this poor guy was...I hope you get beaten by the 3 same 'niqqas' and NO ONE helps you, because you deserve it.
  20. I wouldnt want them to spray it after they repaired it. I had the repair done there, then I took it to Mikko at MP Smash (Top notch painter in Clayton) to have it painted, as he painted the whole car. So they would have to pay him. Nevermind, its all a learning curve of who does and doesnt do good work.
  21. Beaurepaires Clayton are the shit. Many wheel alignments and balances and they always do them SPOT ON.
  22. Its not going to run very well at all considering you are now dumping almost twice as much fuel into the engine through the injectors...not to mention the Z32 upsetting things. You should be able to plug in the pfc, set the injector settings and the Z32 into the air flow meter settings (see Paulr33's PFC write-up, it tells you there) and you should be fine. Should start straight up unless somethings wrong. Just dont belt it to the tuners because 25 standard maps are dynamite for knocking.
  23. Yeah I must admit when I see someone toss a butt from their window and it almost exlodes into a ball of sparks and goes all over my car, id love to take that burning butt, shove it down their throat and make them eat it. Its bloody dirty.
  24. Take it easy Al No-ones judging, we just wanted to know about this dudes experience. We all know there are sometimes delays etc etc but its the way that shops relay back to their customers, that is another thing. Each person makes their own decision!
