I did DT at sandown, its great, as you can take people along with you to learn the lines etc (Thanks Andrew ) The only thing is that you get SHIT ALL time compared to everyone else and that really really sucks and is unfair! So dont listen to anyone who tells you that you still get heaps of time on the track...

4,5 and 3 are for the ABS unit. I think 2 is for the wheel sensor. 1 doesnt usually have anything plugged into it.

Dont forget about the connectors at the front of the P/S strut tower, i think they power up the ECU loom? (Thick wires = supply)? You should be able to find wiring diagrams on the net? I know the GTR Service Manual has everything.

Sorry Ash, those threads are no help, as im not after thicker friction plates, which are discussed in those threads..not much about the spacers i was after. ..and swanny those are GTSt shims, they are far different from GTR shims. So the homework was done! Anyways i managed to source some .5mm spacers locally, for about $15ea, ill just need to machine them down as they are slightly larger in outside diameter. Cheers

As above, im after some thicker shims for my 32 GTR diff; in search of a quick inexpensive fix to get some better lock. Nissan dont know what they are, their database shows the exploded diff assy with these spacers missing! In the service manual they are clearly shown, and I had 2 in my hand when i pulled the thing to bits. I called Award Gearbox and Diff as suggested, but some woman was only interested in selling me friction plates! Has anyone done or sourced some thicker spacers before? Please help!...I can see my car up on stands for ages and diff bits everywhere if I dont find some.... Info / part numbers would be much appreciated! Thanks! Hey guys, I ripped the diff outta my GTR last night, planning to shim the LSD to get some lock, only to find that the shims or spacers are HUGE compared to the GTSt ones i ordered from nissan, which I was hoping would fit. I called Nissan and they couldnt find any such part for the GTR, even though i faxed them a pic from the service manual, clearly showing the spacer, so thats why I just got the GTSt ones, as i had to part number from here. Now where the hell do I get some thicker spacers for my diff?! Pic up in 10mins. Thanks for any help! Mat.

Thats exactly what I did, except the thing is that the cooler runs off the HICAS part of the system. So yes thats how you connect the cooler, I used hose and clamps, no issues, trackdays completed with no overflow! (yes fluid is at spec'd level)

Yeah we had a stainless SR highmount gate flange break off...right in the middle of the pipe, and on top of that while it was broken off, the turbo still spooled up to a bar! (previous boost control issues) The material was rubbish. So was the design. Was bought from a reputable retailer too. Bought one from Just Jap, havent tested it as yet. Its twice the weight too, should work good.

^^ NOT a good idea. My mate bought a Turbosmart UltraGate 38, from the US...after a days use on the dyno, the plunger jammed and was binding on the housing...and it was genuine. Anyways Turbosmart AUS wouldnt have a bar of it, which is ridiculous, considering they are manufactured here, and we got stuck with a 100 dollar repair bill! Turbosmart customer service is f**king shit. Go local.
