  3. Hey fellas, Got a TRUST GReddy Front Mount cooler kit for sale. Suits R32 Skyline GTSt. This is a stealth return flow type cooler. Requires NO HOLES to be cut in your car. Fantastic, legal piece of kit when used with an airbox. Tube and fin cooler core measures 520mm x 250mm x 70mm. Piping fits directly to standard piping setup. Some fins are slightly bent as expected with any second hand cooler, BUT it still works VERY WELL. No excess oil anywhere. Good enough to support 296kw with a RB25, 18psi and Hiflow R34 turbo - true story. Proven. Located in Melbourne but happy to post. In box ready to go. $350 Cheers, Mat. 0400558030

Perfect upgrade for busted old failing RB25 coilpacks. These particular units suit the RB25 Series 2 engine (the one without the ignitor on top of the valley cover). Located in Melbourne, happy to post. $400 Cheers, Mat. 0400 558 030

These plug directly into the RB26 injector plugs without any modifications and are a low impedance injector. Fuel rail is a billet aluminium item, great condition, anodised blue in colour. Includes fittings needed to connect to -06AN lines. Rail has provision to be used as a twin or single entry and includes the fittings to do either. Located in Melbourne, happy to post. $600 Cheers, Mat. 0400 558 030
  8. lol in a 32 thats the engine light! i dunno what the go is with the vipec but with powerfc that can serve as a 'knock light' on the dash. the fact that its coming on, only under high boost, only when youre giving it stick points to a few things...
  9. eh...we will have the car almost fully painted but no one cares!
  10. Getting soft in your old age bris
  11. Oh, you may have one of the relays near the ecu missing. Its strange but the standard ecu doesnt require this particular relay, but the pfc does. From memory I thinks theres supposed to be 2?
  12. Well they spin in the opposite direction to a skyline turbo. So it would need a complete custom manifold with the flange mounted further away from the head to work.
  13. Maybe. You might need a restrictor in the supply line to the boost tee.
  14. I dont like the look of it, and if you want to change turbos or housings later it sucks. But I do like the boost curve from a housing/gate combo. You can nearly always put a ruler on it and it will be pretty close!
  15. Ah only after a genuine BM50 thanks
  16. My experience with ROSS. Bought a new ROSS from justjap back in 07. Stuck it on a fresh engine and had it throwing belts no matter what. Previously had a nissan balancer with no dramas also but I wanted to replace it since the front edge was chipped. Alignment was good. Then later on I moved the P/S pump to where the AC usually is and had no problems with it after that, bit of a bandaid fix. The P/S belt is fairly long when the pump is in the std location. Then had the car in a Racepace earlier this year and Chris noticed that the balancer had a fair wobble in it. About 8000kms use was on the balancer at this time. The wobble was measured and was found to be too excessive to use. Chris sent it back to ROSS and we both spoke to ROSS about it and I was told that it couldnt be repaired because there were no parts available, and that he would give me a new one for half price! He refused to honour any sort of quality guarantee and at this point I was pissed with the support as the thing had done almost no work and it was unusable. I had lost complete faith in them as a company. So I thought bugger spending any more money on ROSS parts ill go with something else. Anyway I called ROSS back a while later to arrange to have it sent back to me, Ross was away and I explained to the office chick what the deal was. The short of it was that they gave me a new one only cos she felt sorry for me and she wanted me to be happy with the company...if I dealt with Ross again i wouldve been shafted and left with no balancer. So I got the new one, and by then had fitted a brand new Nissan balancer I found on ebay for $400; so I sold the new ROSS off. Nissan - Cheaper and better. So the question is, how can a part that some bloke in his shed has developed, be better than a part from a company that spends millions on R&D with years and years of design and manufacturing experience...the answer in my mind for this case is that it cant be. The nissan balancer is smooth, still and hasnt moved a bit since its been on there.
  17. The knock of a piston and rod hanging out the side of the block.
  18. Yeah was also just about the mention the same thing. Especially with more comp how could you not wind things back a little before trying to squeeze numbers out of it??? If thats what really did happen then its careless on the tuners behalf. Would have most likely knocked its face off! Didnt you say they found signs of detonation? Sucks dude I know your feeling.
  19. anyone?
  20. So we have another update! Lots happening! Lots of pics! Last weekend we got alot of painting done! Jambs, insides of doors and hatch, roof, mirrors are all done. We set up a temporary paint booth in my garage to minimise overspray going on everything in the garage.. We started off with all the orange to be painted on the car: Masked up ready for paint Jambs painted Then we moved onto painting the doors, hatch and petrol cap inside. Doors and hatch inside result Then on Sunday we continued on to the roof. He had to do a few little repairs and primer before it was ready to paint. We also had to prime the rocker cover because it was a bit too ratty to paint. We also cut the bonnet vent out (thanks Paul for the freebie!) and prepped it for black paint too. The roof turned out really well! Very shiny! Were very happy with it. It has alot of dust and crap in it but as long as its shiny thats what matters. The finish is really good. Not bad for first timers!! Doors back on and rubbers and other stuff back in We got alot done and really happy with the results. Getting closer now! More bodywork coming up soon.
