  1. More than happy to... Bass is a nice guy and would be good to see some independant results. BASS - I may even be able to hook up a free new product mention in a magazine for you?
  2. Paul - You should volunteer... I will discount dyno time to help provide an unbiased result for Bass... Sounds like an excellent solution... Doc
  3. I got one here with 'interloper' written on it
  4. Spot on... BTW: REAL TIME EMULATION FOR FACTORY ECU'S IS HERE AND WORKING! Map tracing and real time tuning from laptop to Nissan ecu.... mmmm oops... sorry to hijack thread Sam.
  5. I have done this a couple of times on RB20's and 25's and all I will say is that it makes a HUGE difference to the tune... As far as reliability for the AFM I haven't seen any specific problems, but it only makes sense that the pressurised warmer air with slight oil from the turbo would decrease the life of the AFM... but seeing as most of them are ok after 10 years, if it halfs the life to 5 years?? I run a Z32 AFM after the cooler on my CA, mainly cause there's a 4" bellmouth on the turbo and space is restrictive so it had to be after the cooler.. seems to work really well with no immediate reliabilty probs... sam
  6. Paul - It's good to hear the car's running well, especially the new clutch... got used to it yet there must be a slight difference in dyno's (who would have guessed?) as the 8 kw difference we got would hardly the significant gains your speaking of... Anyway, thanks for the Q45 diagram, and look forward to playing with the Pro software ... mmmmmm
  7. Dave - Sorry the tuning boards are available, but they're around $900 plus around 10 hours to fit them, so unfortunately it's a bit uneconomical...
  8. Predator - No problems, have tuned a few to take low impedence injectors (GTR RX7 etc) but you have to run the GTR dropping resistor pack wired into the injector harness. Hard to find is the high impedence RX7 S4 460's which will drop straight in, no resistor required, I have also tuned these.... Sam. PS: I have a set of RX7 460 cc Low Impedence Injectors here for $400 delivered, have all just been recently cleaned and flow tested with new baskets, seals and pintle caps....
  9. Azzura - Yes I will be coming back soon, no fixed dates as it will depend purely on demand. I estimate maximum 2 months as I already have a few people who wont be ready for this one... Don't worry we'll post up in QLD section for sure. Sam.
  10. Yeah there's a lot I can do with them, unfortunately they'd all result in your car being undrivable Red Top ECCS is no problem....
  11. DATE & PLACE CONFIRMED Where: B & R Automotive, Shed 4b/ 62 Blunder Rd Oxley 4075 When: Saturday 20th August - 10am Till We're Done! (And sunday if required) Why: I'm coming to brisbane to remap some cars, at the moment we have 2 CA Silvias, 1 R32 GTR, 1 R32 GTSt confirmed with space for more... This will be the first public outing of my real time tuning software... Laptop plugged straight into your factory ECU and tuned REAL TIME!!! How Much: Depends what you want done and how long it takes.... Remap cost can be negotiated via PM, and time on the rollers is $120/hr. Feel free to call if you have any questions or would like to book your place, if you are interested make sure you book cause we can't fit many cars in... Sam 0425 818 755
  12. Michael - It was going to be later rather than sooner, but I'm accodating a certain R owner j/k - Need to work around availabilty of dyno, working out arrangements with Millenium Motorsports (east bris apparently) and another couple of places too...
  13. Brooklyn Who's that?
  14. How's 20th august sound for you guys???
  15. Dave - What mods? Fairly simple I'm assuming if you're still running stock maps..... probably just plug the map in and give it a power run, max 1 hour dyno time.... Smoothline - ahh the good 'ol days.... have to catch up when I'm up there...
  16. Dave - R32 1990, or A31 1990??? $300 either way (so long as i figure out A31) + Dyno Time...
  17. Michael - Can do the GTR no probs.... looking at $300 + plus dyno time, would prefer to modify the ECU prior to coming up, will help maximise use of dyno on the day(s). Date to be confirmed is either 19th - 22nd, or 27th - 29th.... Sam. PS: If anyone has any specific questions about their car and coming along, please feel free to e-mail me and see what we can work out....
  18. Dan - Still working on R34 as per R34 thread, at the moment have the ability to tune the fuel and ignition tables, cortesy of Darkhalf. By leaning out the top end it will efectively increase the boost cut threshold, but not remove it. Still unsure of speed cut's etc... I may look at coming up again a couple of months later, so hopefully it should be done by then...
  19. David - Price for your A31? Nearly finished decoding the data for them.... Is it factory A31 Silver Top loom and ECU or has it been converted using R32 stuff?? Colin - Long time ago hey.... I've learnt heaps more since then too... Gordon - Hope QLD's treating you well.... What car are you driving these days?
  20. Look forward to it Ian, and it's appreciated. I have several other customers waiting on results... Sam.
  21. ian - If your prepared to be the guniee pig, I have a spare grid board here, a consult to extract the standard binary from your car, and using darkhalf's incomplete address file should at least be able to tune the fuel & ignition curves.... a positive result would surely move this along?? Darkhalf - Mind if I grab the adr of you? Sam.
  22. sydneykid - Looking at the screenshot are all the white cells user definable? If they are then it certainly looks like fc-datalogit might be the only way around it??
  23. Couldn't find that page... I'll look again.... ....... still can't find it..... I got the information direct by e-mailing their local dealer...
