  3. Still waiting on dyno sheets? I'm extremely interested in seeing how you can make an extra 26 rwkw without changing the fuel map significantly at peak power? was the timing the same before and after cause it's easy to make that power if you were only running 10 deg before? was the boost level the same before and after? Do you know if the ramp rate was changed at all?

  8. bbenny - I would be more than happy to fly up and help tune your ECU for you. Without goin to aftermarket ecu you really do need the Z32 AFM. The problem is that after the RB20 AFM reaches 5 volts the ecu has no idea how much the motor is flowing. the Z32 item should be good for 300 rwkw or more. It's a good idea to keep the safc for future fuel tuning if someone who can re-write the factory ECU's is not available. Fuel cut defenders only place an AFM output voltage clamp on, and hence is exactly the same sceario of youe ecu has no idea how much air you're actually getting, and tuning the SAFC will not help as the output voltage will still be clamped. I personnaly would would recommend a turbos*&t bleed valve over that.... and definately don't touch boost without a gauge, preferably a dyno to check your fuel as more boost places demands on your fuel pump. If you loose fuel pressure you will be looking for a new motor When boosting don't go over 1 bar or 15 psi on the stock turbo. Doc/.

  11. XSKAPE - The comparrison was done on the same day, same dyno, same ramp rate, with similar mods and the same boost.... It suprised us all... I have analysed the chip from the factory ecu and it is a standard map. This is the only explanation i have for the power difference. Ripley's Believe it or not?

  13. That's the one except he's now got some nice white five spokes with semi comps, the stock ones are sitting at home.
  14. The Turbo's have the same housings as stock turbos but the wheels look slightly larger, hard to tell without verniers. They are in excellent condition and have only done a genuine 37000 km... see the car and you'll no for sure they're genuine. Impul 32 is definately 50 rwkw more powerfull than another 32 with same boost that was dynoed on the same dyno on the same day. The ECU has been opened and it is standard. Therefore we believed that this power could only come from the turbos. Doc.
  15. Merli - The ones in that link actually have much larger compressor wheels than R32Impul's There's more to turbo's than the A/R ratios it also has a lot to do with the wheel diameter. I will measure the wheel size when I get to work tomorrow. Does anyone know the standard compressor wheel size of GTR or N1 turbos? Doc./

  23. The additional map sensor is for the fuel and ignition control, nothing to do with actuator/gate/
