Saliba - We're here most nights and weekends, feel free to pop round and introduce yourself, that way you can have a look at the workshop and see if you feel comfortable leaving your car here. Trusting your mechanic is a big part of business these days, especially with imports and so many 'so called' professionals. Just around the corner from you too. I've spoken to a few people about EAS and haven't heard a bad word said about them, and Al has always been happy, should feel comfortable with them. Sam.

Couple of quick answers for power dropping off... Very conservative tune at request of Interloper, 0.64 exhaust housing, quiet street exhaust, and RB20's loose volumetric efficiency on the standard cams over 210 rwkw (my dyno). This RB20 is the orginal motor and has been making 200+ rwkw for a few years now without missing a beat... With the load from the GTS4 increasing the thermal stress a conservative tune is the best approach. I'm confident there's still more in it!

Every one I've fitted we just welded a 4 bolt GT30 Flange to the back of the housing... never had a problem, and save heaps... I have seen different T70's the the ones I have used with success but don't know if they're the same internals or not. The ones I have used do not have the copy Garrett front cover 'A/R 0.70 M24' etc... And they do not have 'Holset' on the exhaust...

I stand corrected, if you still have your ECU can you take a photo with it's lid off so i can see the board? I may be able to remap them like the 34's Sam.

I do have a list of people and rough times, all people involved will be aware of timing etc...

I remap most Nissan ECU's and the result is often better that most aftermarket computers and the total cost is substantially less. Significant gains can even be made on standard engines. I would like to suggest that ALL vehicles have upgraded fuel pumps (standard are way bad), full tanks of whatever petrol you want the car tuned on, maintained vehicles (serviced, good spark plugs etc). Remap Prices cover initial ECU modifications, and loading of pre-tuned maps to suit, these will then need 1-1.5 hours of dyno time tuned specifically to your vehicle and fuel. Dyno time as mentioned will be around $180/hr. ECU modification and Base Maps priced as follows: S13 CA18 - $330 S13 SR20 - $450 S14 SR20 - $660 S15 SR20 - $660 R32 RB20 - $330 R32 RB26 - $330 R33 RB25 - N/A R34 RB25 - $660 Z32 VG30 - $330

I'll be finishing the Cefiro with the RB25DE + T70 later today so I'll scan that when we're done. Last reading was 249 rwkw @ 17 psi Completely STOCK RB25DE with a T70 600hp, 600x300x100 FMIC, GTR Injectors, Z32 AFM, Desno 600 hp Fuel Pump, Remapped R32 GTST ECU, and that's it.

From my perswonal experience there is one particlar e-bay turbo that is BAD - The '50 70' as some call it... This is the turbo on the MX6 link, and has nerouse bad reviews everywhere. I have fitted the T70 to serveral cars now with excellent results, and seem to fine for long term also with the first that I fitted 8 months ago still going strong. They are rated at 600 so expected to be laggy. I have also tuned 2 CA1DET's with the KKR 330 and KKR 430, the 430 was fairly laggy on the CA, but the 330 gave me the biggest shock! 206 rwkw @ 16 psi with awesome response.... I am completely confident the 430 would be an excellent turbo on a larger capacity (2lt or 2.5lt) motor. Summary: EBay - '50 70' = BAD EBay - 'T70' = Good KKR - =Good
