Hope i'm not hi-jacking here, but i think my HICAS is playing up. It seems whenever i'm turning a corner and hit a bump, the backend kind of floats to a side. Its hard to explain, but it doesn't feel good at all! Almost loosing control type of feel. I'm going to disconnect it this weekend,and if anyones interested, will let you know the results.

Have a look underneith the dash, above where your pedals are. You should see a big clear plug, with red and yellow wires going into. You need to unplug this, chuck the harness in the middle. You will most probably see 3 plugs on the harness. One plug will go to the timer, and the other 2 are used to go inbetween the old plug you pulled apart. If you don't want to go looking for your handbrake wire, you can just ground it to an earth. The harness makes it easier to install the turbo timer. This way you don't have have to cut any power wires and solder the timer's wires to them.

I just bought 500-AO22 for my R32 GTS-t. That is the latest Apexi Super Power Intake or whatever it is. However, i believe it is just a universal filter, and you have to buy the adapter separately. Thats the expensive bit. My filter cost me ~$90 inc delivery. I'm going to get a friend to custom build me a stainless steel adapter to go straight onto my AFM.

I tried some type of ford rims once. I found the rims hit the breaks and weren't deep enough. Do the R33s have different patterns to the R32s?

Yes.... thats what it must be!!!!! All the people that are giving us a bad name are ex holden/ford drivers/fans.

I am starting to get very angry with some skyline drivers lately. No-one here, but the guys that live in my area. They are the ones that are giving me/us the bad names. I am getting pulled over, all because some other guy always drives like a dickhead around town. Some people call me a sheep for buying a skyline, because everyone is getting one now. I don't think thats the case. I believe a import skyline is more reconised because they're not a popular car here. So once you see one, and then another one, you think "HEY theres heeps!". Theres probably a MAXIMUM of 30 in my area. At the mo, my biggest argument, is a lot of young (commonly males) are buying skylines/silvias and just driving like absolute tools. I don't know what its like in your area, but this is whats happening here. The cops were having a massive blitz in town last night. I didn't want to take my car in, because I knew i would be picked on because of that other dickhead in the skyline. PS This is what my car and the other car have in common; Same first 4 digits on the number plate Gunmetal Grey R32

Back to the other point. Holdens and Fords dominate the australian car market. Therefore, that increases the amount of dickheads that are going to hop into those cars. Australians love the, "Has to be australian made"... "support australia".... which I have nothing against and thats probably what attracks more people towards these cars..... but who do you think owns Holden ? And the Ford cars we have here, are usually only made for Australians.. They have different Fords all around the world. Where Holden is only really known in Australia. As one of the other guys posted, we should say, Some dickhead in holden.... Just as i would say, some knob jockie in a skyline.

I'm not a holden, nissan, ford or any type of fan. Yes, I love my skyline and love the technology, but man-o-man there is some very nice Holden's/Ford's out there. However, I don't see how people can be so one-tracked. "I can't hop in that, its a Ford". Just like any manufacturer you're going to get some good cars out of a bunch and some really shit cars. Just like the VN, in my mind, they were one of the worst built cars. Their engines were shite!!. However, doesn't mean all of them are like that. I know of a few big dickheads/idiots that drive skylines. None of them come on this forum (luckily). And they are the ones that give us bad names. You have to remember, the dunnydoor is the one of the most popular cars in australia, so of course theres going to be alot of wankers out there, but you can't generalise and say all people that have commonwhores are dickheads. Although, alot of them are. I think its usually the younger P plate drivers that cause the most havic. They're the only ones that I usually have encounters with. I haven't given anyone a drag yet. I don't think my car is all that quick and i don't want to risk loosing my lisence. Although on our nice private drag strip, me and a R33 were both beaten hands down by a friends VN V8. I think i've lost my self in this post, but you get the idea.

I disagree. I changed my O2 sensor, and that has made all the difference. I'm getting waaaaaaay better economy then what i did before.
