Can't believe you guys are still posting
-
I'm enjoying the #SAUPerth channel. We're getting new guys coming in every day. If anyone needs help/assistance, i'm willing to lend a hand. Also, if you want to setup the JAVA IRC, I can help out there too. That would be a good idea.
-
I've fitted one to an R32 no problems at all. I don't know what the loom is that you're talking about. But i bought the harness that connected it to the power etc. The hardest bit was connecting the speeed/rpm wires.

Well, I could of done alot of things to prevent it. I stopped for a start, and wound down the window. I really thought it was mistaken identity, but this guy just had it in for me, and i believe he still does. Hes assaulted 2 cops while holding up Blockbuster once. So the cops know him well. Hes not all there upstairs. I'm still considering a restraing order aswell. But that means i gotta go to the courthouse and stand before a madistrate.

Happend in Bunbury, underneith son of rajab forrest car park. Walking to my car with my g/f around 1am on Sunday morning (Sat night), i hear these chicks shout out "shannon, shannon, heres the guy you wanna smash" blah blah... I hopped in my car, started to drive off. 3 Guys walk up, order me out of the car, opened my door, tried ripping me out. but i had my seatbelt on. Meanwhile one guy had turned the car off, and couldn't get the keys out. While the other guys had me half out the door, one guy hit me and gave me a black eye. So i managed to start the car, drive to the cop shop. But it was closed, and so i called them. They advised me to go to the hospital and get a report. Then come back in the morning, because they were too busy. So I did, I described the guys, and they knew exactly who they were. Not until a week and a bit later, a cop calls me and lets me know one of the guys has been charged with assault. And will get back to me about the other guy who actually hit me. Nearly been 4 weeks since the incident and the cop still hasn't called me back. The guy was after me, because i apparently did burnouts infront of his house. Which is a total load of shit. And thats his reason. Had i been dragged out of the car, i'd still be in hospital.

Well, that function came in handy for me the other night. 3 guys tried to jump me in my car and rip my keys out. But because it wasn't in park, they couldn't get the keys out, and I had my seat belt on, so they couldn't pull me out. Once one of the guys hit me, i just turned the car on and took off. Anyhow, yes i've looked unter there, but is it worth cutting a wire that you're not 100% on?
-
Are you able to find out what wire they cut? They want to sell me a... "HKS Keylock release adapter" for "..A$96 delivered to you"
-
Looking for near new boost gauge at a reasonable price. PM if you have one for sale.

Has anyone had the problem where you turn the key off, turbo timer counts down, but you can't get the key out until the timer shuts the car off? The "Push" button won't let you push it, until the car turns off. Help?

HKS Turbo Timer Type 1 Installation
int21h replied to skysaresilver's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Alright, It's all installed and working. But when it finishes counting down now, I can't get the key out until the timer finishes!! The Speed always shows half of whats on the speedo. The RPM is always 200+ more then whats on the dash. Has anyone had this problem before? EDIT: I'm a dick.. It pays to read the instructions! -
HKS Turbo Timer Type 1 Installation
int21h replied to skysaresilver's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I'm having problems with the Type 1 TT too!! I bought the harness, plugged it in, BUT I GOT PROBLEMS! I turn the car on and the timer turns on. Good. But i turn the car off, and the car goes straight off with no count-down. However, when the harness is plugged in (Car off), I ground the earth and the timer makes the beep. So i figure its got constant power. Then when i disconnect the harness and try ground, it doesn't make the beep. So no power? Anyone got any ideas on this situation? EDIT: It helps if you read the instructions properly. I didn't think you had to have the Handbrake wire connected for it to work. But if you read the instructions: Note: If the gray wire is left open or if the parking brake is down, the Turbo Timer will not countdown -
Hehe, Yes i was thinking the same thing. Looks like it may be an expensive excersise. Do you think this pipe is going to make much difference?
-
Yes, I agree. Turbo timers are a waste. Are only handy if you want to let it cool down by its self and you don't want to wait around. I have a HKS type 1, that measures your speed, 1/4 times, rpm warning, rarara list goes on. I can sell it for $300 including delivering and harness. Never opened, if anyone wants it.

I need some help with my exhaust parts. I have a cat-back (i think) kakimoto exhaust seen here: http://www.perfectrun.com.au/performance%2...fflerRslash.htm You can see the 2 bits there, they are both joined, so i have 2 mufflers. Then the pipe goes to the a little round thing where it appears the o2 sensor is (I dunno what its called) and then it goes to the turbo. I want to put the front pipe + cat shown here http://radium.highway1.com.au/parts/ Do you guys think it will fit, work and make a difference?

Walkoau, Read what RadiuM posted. I checked it out on my car, the panasonic round looking box has picture of a speaker and 4ohm there.
-
Haha, Jason - That is the ultimate sleeper. Let me know how the transplant goes!
-
Bugger dood! Did you boost it to 14psi?
-
When some dicks replaced the timing belt on my car (under warranty) he had it 1 tooth out on the exhaust cam. This made it chew the fuel and idle weirdly. It would move up and down from 800 - 1200 rpm. Once you turned the Air-con, it nearly stalled. I don't think this is your problem, but you could always check it out.
-
You can go even cheaper with the GFB boost controller. Think you can get them pretty cheap, maybe around $50 or so
-
Leewah, what type of turbo did you put on? That is one big boy!!! Can i see some more pics?
-
Cool, i've wondered what they were. I don't have ABS but i have 2 boxes and a R32. One says Panasonic, so that might have something to do with stereo? I'll take some photos tomorrow and post them here for clarification
-
Yes, I wonder why they used SHIFT_ ? I wonder what the other brand SHIFT = thinks about it all?
-
Cool, Is he running a high stall or anything?

Hi Guys, I'm posting this message hoping that you guys will share your experience in the best way for me to go. I have a '93 R32 Skyline GTS-t with nice mags, rear spoiler and sideskirts, so the exterior looks good. All I want to do now is make the performance a bit better. I don't want it to be a supercar, just something a bit faster. It already has that kamakito (spelling?) cat-back 3" exhaust. I'm thinking the order should be: 1. Get rid of air box and replace with pod, or put pod in air box? 2. Do a manual conversion (cuz it's auto) 3. Put a FMIC in with plumb-back BOV 4. Up the boost a bit. 5. Replace front pipe and make turbo back bigger? Anyone wanna shed their ideas on this situation? What they recommend I should do first/last and what to use etc ?
-
I don't look to making it into a high performance yet/if ever. I only really plan is to put a fmic, pipe, air flow and up the boost a little. So really, I want a standard gearbox in good condition. Is there anyone in perth ?
