thanks for that, reason i was having so much trouble was because there was a layer of rubber which got stuck in the hole. so i couldnt see plus puttin it back in was annoying. but yes the quarter turn to the passenger side worked!

now i agree that the parkers should be able to change without taking the headlights out... BUT i cant seem to do it. ive changed my normal beams but the parker just seems to have a plug going to it. cant see anything that is able to unscrew or take out. I have a series 2, is there any difference??

i need help changing mine!!!! ive replaced the normal beams. but the parker just seems to be a plug. unable to find how to get to the globe... anyways smoko and back to it!

i think those 3 in 1 dump/front pipes are all you need anyone?

sorry thats what i meant, drag radials!!!!!! so everyone thinks 16" rims are ok for drag ?? and 7 or 8 inches wide is ok? is that the stock r32 gtr or 300zx rims?

yeah thats what i thought BUT what i was asking is... is it better to have semi slicks on my 17" x 8", most likely thinner side wall (im guessing this would be better for track) or the standard skyline rim which i think are 16" x 6" with semi slicks with a thicker side wall (just to get alot of flex plus running low pressure...) but the 17" are thicker... would that compensate or the 16" with the more flex in the side wall no comparison???

hello there, i was wondering what would be better, semi slicks / slicks on the standard r33 16" rim or on a pair of 17" x 8" wide. just wondering because the rims are wider but the stockys would give more flex in the wall? im talking about better grip to give better ET times... THANKS YO!

so what exactally are all the parts to a recommend 100k service? these 2 parts mentioned in the thread, timing belt water pump oil + filter change anything else? oil pump change?? maybe someone needs to get a skyline 100k service kits / group buy .... think about it,.... how many skylines are going to go threw 100k service in the next 10 years... Hello! about to buy a clutch, just wondering do i have to look out for anything if im buying a lightened flywheel for eg do all flywheel fit all clutches??? or can i only buy a flywheel that suits a certain brand / type? im going for a brass button type of clutch (exedy) and want to get a lightened flywheel installed at the same time.. also anyone know where i can get a lighted flywheel delivered to my door, preferable a decent one. not a mock up version THANKS ALL

i notice everyone says skylines are common... i personal dont think so. lets take a 1000 cars... out of that thousand how many would be a 32, 33 or 34. not many at all. you never hear someone say, civics are common... preludes are common, 180's are common, silvias are common. just skylines, maybe because they stand out!!! haha id hear my friends talk about someone in a silvia or a 180 saying it was "sick" or whatever even though there are a hell of alot of the silvia range (considering s14's and s15's were locally deliverd) but when i bought my r33 most of them turned up there noses and just said.... pffft seen so many of them and didnt even want to look at the car.

wasent at a proper "paid" to get in drag strip, in my town we have a closed down small air strip that not many people know about, which is soon going to be ripped down and houses going up. also i thought people wouldnt mind talking about drags or races because its a type of sport and a lust for power.

second time ive said it, it wasnt on the streets!!! geezzzzzus and ive now relised its my fault i should of posted in the drag section. also everyone likes to flame alot before they even read the post too. purpose of the thread before about the drag is i thought i did alright to keep up with the xr8 and i was just asking if i could of won with maybe better tyres or a better launch thats all. it was an honest question about tuning my car to get that little bit faster

i just started a thread before about a race i had. it was closed because were not alloud to talk about drag racing apparently...??? i never said in the thread that it was on the street... i did that on purpose because everyone expects that its always on suburban roads. so just asking, is anyone alloud to talk about drags? or are we only alloud to talk about hyperthetical drags like always goes on in this forum? always asking, "will i beat this car with these mods" and people reply yes or no but no one every finds out. even if those people have certain mods its up to the driver. so to cut it short... are we aloud to talk about any type of drag that actual took place? maybe if i replaced me driver with a "mate" that was driving the thread wouldnt of closed. or we are all forbidden to talk about drags unless its "make believe"? OORRRRR are we only alloud to compare 1/4 mile times and 60ft times on paper with other cars that proberly werent even there on the same night.... word to ya mother

yeah 300 kw does seem to high for what the race was. but thats what the guy kept saying. said he spent so much on mods at some place "heretez" or something he keep talking. but even if it was stock (which it wasnt, seem some of the mods myself, under the hood) there about 260kw i think launching in second gear, ive heard of doing this but most cars out there launch in first, so im guessing gettin a better launch in first is better then getting a good launch in 2nd???

as title says, how do you launch your skyline? EDIT: THIS "RACE" WAS HELD OFF PUBLIC ROADS (noted for those people with turbo cars that run 13 seconds or quicker that have never raced or speed in there life) I just raced a "305kw claimed" xr8, i had him all the way up to 140kpm then at 180kpm he was one car length ahead. on the first run i didnt launch as good, had him till 100kpm, then same at 180kpm he was one car length ahead. My car, stock standard r33 s2, with hks cat back, hks pod, 10psi, standard rims with 235's. my question is, could i have done better with a better launch? and what might of happened if i had 255's on 17 * 8.5 " rims (there sittin in my room waiting for me to get some decent tyres on them) And how did i launch? only revd about 2k then droped the clutch and almost full throttle till the wheel spin slowed down. then full throttle till read line every gear except 5th

i always fill my car with $50 bucks, gives me about 33 litres. if i take it easy with abit of boost on 3k everynow and then ill get 300km

leave it auto, and when your ready sell it and buy the s15, youll probz sell it around 10k soon.... or 12k if your lucky. then the s15's could possble be 22k... just a guess by trend

dont listen to em man, get the gt-t, put the gtr kit on it. DONT PUT GTR BADGES ON IT!!!!!! then kits a cool spray or someting, then go do all the engine mods you can possble think of.... buy then you would of spent 60 grand... and im pretty sure r34 gtr's are around that price now. look at www.imports101.com

yeah ive heard running in the motor like that. BUT ive also read this whole article about its better to just drive normaly because something like it bends something into place to fit perfect (maybe rings?) rather then drive soft and it bends the "thing" in the soft posititon then when you hammer it, it isnt in a good position... OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT!!! BUT i wouldnt know, sounds like everyones says drive it soft...
