  1. i ran into this dilema before i bought my line. i went the r33 coz i wasnt prepared to fork out the cash to keep up the maintence or possible rebuild on the gtr.

  5. spot on! seen this done on a dvd to a GTR, guy ran high 11's... plus he had race fuel with a tune and more boost.
  6. how do i adjust this??? either make more or less boost?? ps. i just tried turning the screw thingy insid and now ive tried afew settings... ive read between 6 and 0 psi.... how do i get it to 10?????????!!!!! k ive done afew settings and tests. coz its raining i cant full throttle in first and second. even third spins a little. well in 3rd it goes to about 9psi. which is what it was on before i touched it. but i had a quick look in 2nd gear and only reachd about 6psi, and first was 0psi but if i full throttle in 1st ill just slide so i couldnt do that/ so what im asking is the reading in 3rd gear gonna be the same for the other gears??? if not am i gonna have to wait till it drys before i can test??
  7. all i could think about in year 12 was driving and owning a car... so i couldnt concentrate in class and just made car noises in my head and gear shifts under the table when no one was looking. i drive 5 hours a day minimum and feel sick if i dont. what i would do with my kids is give them a non turbo rear wheel drive manual. like a r31 or silvia, get 3rd party insurance for them. and tell them to go practise in the wet. but make sure they pay for anything that breaks on the car. tell them to drive that car for a year and 6 months. then after buy them a decent car. that way theyll practise and sortof thrash the car but not till its screwed coz theyll need that car for a year... then again my first car was a front wheel drive. i got heaps of driving experience and learnt about traffic conditions and wet conditions etc. if i had a rear wheel drive for my first car i probz would of crashed for sure. not knowing to much about the cars limits. i just bought my r33 and are slowly learning its limits
  8. hello! im not sure what this is, but im guessing its some kinda bleed valve??? i dont have a clue really just asking coz my aftermarket boost gauge read 9psi.... its on a rb25det and its sitting on top of the AFM im talking about the blue and gold thing the second pic is large, 600kb or something. im guessing i can adjust the end of this with a screw driver, and i can run 12psi on the standard turbo safely???
  9. its hard to do something like that, it would of fallen when they were lifting it... and it takes a fare rocking to push it. plus one of the hydrolic arms are missing. so its obious that the machine hasnt been serviced and broke! no real idiotness

  11. can someone tell me the difference between active lsd and the other option s2 have if they dont have active lsd? your car looks the exact same as mine, what other option you have?? i dont have the green lights, i got air purifier....!! and no a-lsd but everything else.
  12. dont know personaly. but ive never heard of it being done. mayb coz youd need another style of pump to get the oil through and threw a cooler...???? or they just use a high grade oil that can stand high temps...
  13. when getting an alignment is there any danger? eg them fudging the hicas or anything??? coz i want an alignment done soon but im worried the local tyre power shop might screw it. plus ive seen them do an alignment... whip out the old hammer and give it afew wacks till its right.
  14. make him pay, and if he refuses take him to court. and make him pay the legal fees (if any) also go to the servo and ask for the video tape. or at least a copy and tell them why. if you dont its gonna cost you money to fix it. (that can be your main point)

  17. this is what i thought because normal or high beams reflect. on coming drivers will see wether you have high beams or not because theyll see a glare of light, but i guess the foglights would still "look" round or square...
  18. both cars that i own have fog lights, ive driven through fog and dont notice how they can help?? but my question is... do you have the head lights off and only the fog lights on when driving through fog?? maybe a simple and general knowledge question but im just after a quick answer..?? thanks
  19. nah im in geelong but thanks for the offer dude. ill have a swap with my mate ans see what goes on. yea i checked the interior fuse and its working, i wish it could of been that ahwellz...

  23. with those brushes everyone has told me not to use it. and at first i never did but if i dont use it dirt that doesnt come off with the pressure hose gets on my shammy. so i use my bear had and feel all over the brush and there usually really soft. i give it a blast too, and make sure theres heaps of soap on them before i use. my washes include. soap rinse brush clean water rinse wipe of dirt with the $2 dispoable cloths shammy then wax if needed i got around 1am so theres no one there, usually no wind aswell.
