okay, that's good to hear. I'll grab a set form Donnellans then.
If they are to be discontinued, I would start trialling some other makes, but if they are still around, no worries as I am pleased with the Bridgestones.
cheers
Mick
hey fellas,
Here I am again, have used my RE55s up. I'm now being told my size is discontinued?
TyreTech in Brisbane - (07) 32528022 tell me R18 265x35 are now discontinued. (recomending 285x30s ($516 each)- but I dont think I am gunna get them under my R32 gaurds...)
Donnellans in VIC still have 265x35 for $480 each or $500 each delivered to QLD.
AMEC, still list 265x35 but price has gone up $577
Any other guys had any feedback the 265x35 are being discontinued...?
Thanks
Michael
Hey Andrew,
It's been a while.
Please let me know how this debacle is going...
Can I enter the group buy at this point? If so what price?
Thankyou
Mick
A heap of guys in porka road cars buy then second hand up here $100 each used iirc.
better times outta them used than new RE55s... and a 1/4 of the price...
If I recall they are 255x18 or something, I will see if I can look back through some e-mails...
I don't care about 9 second 1/4s, I've seen what Mark Jacobsen can do with an RB26. you can do 7s with any of the configs....
and with the right turbo selection you dont need 600awhp to do 10s in a GTR...
I'm interested in driveability.
Please feel free to give us your opinion for the circuit what you find better and why?
really appreciated it.
I am still trying to justify that extra cost of a stroker over a 2.6 when it could get me a dry sump etc.....
thanks
Michael
hi all,
thanks for f**king up a great thread with bitchfights.
I'm genuinely interested in peoples experiences with the different stroker kits too. havent unfortunatley seen as many dyno sheets as I wanted too....

I'm watching this thread a little, hoping that maybe someone can post some HKS 2.8 vs 2.6 Litre dyno sheets with a T04Z or something... I really arent yet convinced its worth my money to go the 2.8 yet........
