  1. Hello again! Not really an update but... I bought a daily driver so if anyone sees me cruising with the top off my new Z31 300zx, give a wave!
  2. Well I'm 6ft and 86kg and it fits quite snug on me... So probably not.
  3. Special price for you only James - $349.00
  4. Thanks Paul, that really helps It looks good in real life, its silver / grey in colour... Goes really well with a silver, grey or white car.
  5. Not to be picky but you obviously measured these with the tyres fitted to the wheels?... The difference in weight is only 300grams - this could be mostly due to a different amount of balancing weights used.
  6. Hi all, I thought that I would post this here before I put it in the For Sale section... I like to give fellow ACT Skyliners the first opportunity I have a genuine SAAS bucket seat for sale which I originally bought to put into the R32 for track days, motorkhanas etc. but I have since bought a daily driver and need cash to fix it up and get rego. This seat is BRAND NEW, never used, perfect condition - No marks, tears, stains scratches... It is ADR compliant and fully reclinable, its very comfortable and has excellent support / bolsters to hold you in place. It comes without rails but is universal fitment so it can be adapted to the original Skyline rails quite easily. These seats are $499.00 each new, I am asking for $350.00 FIRM... I am in no rush to sell so no low ball offers please. PM me for high res pics and / or contact details. Cheers Mick
  7. Not bad Steve, looks a bit cartoony though
  8. Its unlikely that you will find one in Canberra but try calling Trojan in Mitchell - 6242 6277, they usually have a few second hand parts for Skylines in stock.
  9. I had a go at changing the things that I thought didnt look quite right... As you can see by my signature, I think I have the hang of it Thanks guys
  10. As the title says, I am so amazed that in light of the recent bushfires in Victoria and all of the media attention over it that people continue to smoke in their cars and chuck their butts out the window!!!! Firstly - What the hell is wrong with these people!? Secondly - Not only is it illegal to litter, but with all of the dry grass and vegetation around it could not be easier to start another bushfire. Lastly - I believe that these idiots need to be named and shamed! So... If you see one of these complete morons and are able to take down their rego number and type and colour of their car and the time and location - bring it here and maybe we can forward it on to the Police? Does anyone know if just a report of this behaviour is enough to have these people fined? (I would start us off but I didnt get the rego of the idiot in the red Holden Barina that I watched do this yesterday on my way home).
  11. What about those of us that dont have any friends?
  12. That shouldnt be too hard.
  13. I need a Z32 AFM Paul...
  14. Its true, you are a nice guy Paul Can you help me out with a free engine build? - I would really appreciate it (in all seriousness, its good to hear youre ok and that your "gentlemans region" is all still intact).
  15. Always happy to see another 32 around... Nice work
  16. Attached is an interesting read on the importance of crankcase breathers / catch cans... It should help with your new set up. breathersystems.pdf
  17. Need more info to be able to give you a better answer but... I have seen stock RB25DET's push over 300kw at the wheels, but there are so many variables that you cant account for when extracting big power from an internally stock motor... Your mate might get a solid run for a while with big power, or he might have to re-build it after it blows a hole in a piston... It depends on how healthy the engine is to start with. Most of his reliability will come from a really good tune (assuming he is using high quality parts and lubricants aswell).
  18. You may find it VERY hard to get an RB25DET in Canberra at all, let alone one in good condition. I had to have mine sent from Newcastle a few years ago because they are pretty scarce in the ACT and NSW. Try Just Jap in Sydney, they usually keep at least one on hand.
  19. Nice website you have there, good looking and easy to use... The white R33 in the "current stock" page looks neat too.
  20. Not yet. I would be up for that... I know that the one I have works perfectly.
  21. You forgot to say "Shameless business plug"
  22. I call it - I use a PowerFC computer and I need it so Im replacing it with a Z32 one.
  23. No problem... Yeah I made a bracket for it, its got 3 bolts holding it on to the body and 2 holding the can (I dont cut corners on my car). Here is a quick "sketch" of the bracket... I used existing holes in the body when measuring up the braket, I dont like the idea of drilling more holes into the panels.
