You cant get in to SEMA if you arent registered as part of the international automotive trade or media. Stay at either Caesars Palace or the Belagio, they're the nicest hotels that we went through. Take as much cash as you can but dont spend any of it on gambling... Vegas is an expensive city! If youre not taking the missus - make sure that you visit "The Spearmint Rhino Club" - very expensive cover charge and drinks but well worth it

The 595RS is being replaced by the 595RS-R and current stock in Aus of the 255/40R17's is good... UTQG stands for Uniform Tyre Quality Grade - this is a test performed by the US Department of Transport (DOT). For a tyre to be sold in the USA for road use it must have DOT certification and have passed a UTQG test... However it is not essential that the tyre carry the UTQG ratings on it - this is why sometimes you wont find treadwear, traction or temp ratings on all tyres. Usually if the treadwear number is higher it means that the compound is harder, however it is not an indication of how well the tyre grips, it basically just tells you how long it will last.

Well, as some of you know I was fortunate enough to fly over to the USA for the 2008 SEMA show earlier this month! After 11 nights in America Im glad to be back on Australian soil but the trip was awesome!! I'll have memories of Vegas, the SEMA show and so much more for many years to come! I have attached as many photos as I can (I took over 600 pictures) to give you a taste of just how amazing SEMA and Las Vegas are. Enjoy

Sidewall cracking is usually a warrantable condition (depending on how old the tyres are) take them back to where you bought them and ask whether they can get a rep to come and inspect the tyres for warranty. If the tyres arent too old you should be able to get a pro-rata warranty adjustment on a new set.

Thats not really a fair comparison, the 595 is a UHP street tyre and would be more comparable to the Kumho KU-31. If you were to compare the KU-36 to the Federal 595RS-R - that would be a good comparison as both are semi slick tyres with similar casing and tread construction. KU-36 595RS-R

Never put straight degreaser on your cam covers, it stains them and they look crap until you have them polished or painted, if you have to degrease, water it down. Also - Wait for the engine to cool before you spray it with cold water or you risk cracking the exhaust manifold or worse - the head. Cover your pod filter (if you have one) with a plastic bag, everything else should be fine as long as you dilute the degreaser.

I reckon that we cruise down to the south coast for the day, leave here at 6am hit the Clyde mountain at about 7am then be at Batemans Bay before 8am for breakfast!

If you are really "losing a little bit of your soul everyday" then walk away... I'm not trying to be harsh but you shouldnt have to comprimise your life for someone else. Start thinking of yourself and call it quits because you only get one go at life.
