  1. Because youre a geek...
  2. +1 Hell yeah Adam, I ONLY play Ibanez... Ive got 2 RG's at home and I have never played a guitar with a better feeling neck! (are we getting a little off topic now?)
  3. Are you sure that youre not from A Current Affair or Today Tonight, or some other crap propaganda show?
  4. Nope, dont know that one
  5. Yeah, it used to belong to a guy who used frequent these forums... Miranda bought it and James has fixed it up heaps and it is now actually a really good car - not slow either. The exhaust temp sensor goes in the side of the cat... If it blinks when the engine is revving hard it can indicate that the engine is pinging, something to do with the computer getting confused and thinking that the cat is to hot.
  6. I dunno John, I reckon if we take Viet he could protect us all! Not to mention our resident SAU thug James (DriftGTS).
  7. Yeah, its Miranda's S14, looks FARKING HOT with the new wheels... I hope she doesnt mind me posting pics: Does your exhaust temp light flash on and off or stay on Gus?
  8. Youre right Gus, you did end that winning streak... By about 5 balls I think I dont know if they still do trivia but we can still go and have a good time getting slightly pissed and laughing at each other (especially if James snorts salt again)
  9. As we are all motorists, car and motorsport enthusiasts why shouldnt we be able to have a voice in local government? Well now we can! Australian Motorist's Party Take the time to read the policies of these guys and I am sure that you will agree that they have some really good ideas! They even have the support of Jim Richards and Victor Bray! Have a look at their proposed new driver training and motorsports complex (attached)! Lets get behind them... I know I will be voting for them this year! NADEC.pdf
  10. Soft... Maybe we organise it for every second Saturday night, for whoever wants to turn up?
  11. Thats a nice smooth curve Gus, it must have pretty linear delivery. Looks like its running a bit rich at high revs (safer than running lean though) and by the looks of the top of the curve you might need to re-gap your spark plugs down to .8mm cos it looks like its blowing out the spark at peak power.
  12. Im not expecting a big response to this but Im going to put it out there anyway... Who remembers the days when we used to all gather at Jerra Pub for Trivia on Tuesday nights!? - We sucked at the trivia but it was a great chance to catch up with a whole heap of the ACT crew, sink some brews, have dinner and play some pool (I still hold the record for 9 wins in a row on the same table in one night)... We should definitly start doing something like that again! Even if it is only once a fortnight... Who knows we might even get to see the misterious Jayce and Erica again (since they have gone in to hiding) Should we put it to a vote?
  13. Im hoping that my car will be back together by then, I'll bring the tent again
  14. I keep spotting Shawn's old white beast... Still looks good. Did you sell it to a young bloke on the Southside Shawn?
  15. +1 I'm also in the (slow) process of putting my engine back together, I'll try to make the next day.
  16. Coming from someone who knows exactly how easy it is to disrespect the road rules [jokes] I totally agree with this point, its not about the cars that young "hoons" drive (last time I checked you can still go over 100kmh in a Hyundai Excel aswell as a Skyline or V8 Falcodore). If the government invested more time and money in to compulsary defensive driver training and skid control courses there would be a steady decline in the amount of "hoon" based accidents. But instead of doing something about it the government just imposes bans on cars for P platers and buries their heads in the sand (or up their own asses, as politicians usually do). F_cking pollies give me the sh_ts
  17. I just have to say - that is one awesome DR30 man, if I had $16k I would buy it today. Good luck with the sale... Free bump
  18. I think that John (a20089) was joking when he said that Ross...
  19. --WARNING TO ALL FORMAL DRIVERS-- At the last formal that I drove someone to, the Police decided to make it a massive road block + "Random" vehicle inspection station... I was lucky to get away (as my car was engineered) but more than half of the cars there were defected and/or towed home. I'm not saying that this happens at all formals but it is certainly a risk you take.
  20. You said it Ross... +1 from me.
  21. Sorry Shawn, I would love to come for old times sake... But I'll be at Oran Park all weekend supporting our sponsored drift racers at the final round of D/A
  22. I wont be anywhere near the city while the Nats are on... I used to go every year, but since grew out of my teens I recognised the Nats for what they really are: an excuse for drunk bogan V8 worshiping idiots to disrespect anything that doesnt have an engine built by Americans and think that they can get away with sexual assault on any female they see for 3 days. And what a STUPID idea having it on new years eve - this will just mean more bogan idiots getting even more pissed and causing trouble, looking for a fight or a girl to assault. You may have guessed by now that I dont like Summernats
  23. A few more ideas... As requested by Donnan.
  24. I like the idea of using parliament house in the foreground, but... 1. No one in SAU ACT has an R35 (that I'm aware of). 2. Its WAY to busy and wouldnt easily attract the eye of on lookers. 3. It doesnt actually say "Skylines Australia ACT" anywhere on it. Just my 2 cents
  25. Our resident SAU thug... Its good to know we have such a strapping young lad to protect us James
