Great news! My friend got the call this morning from ACT Police - the Skyline has been recovered and the thief aprehended! More details in the ACT thread (see link in the first post). Thanks to all who kept an ear to the ground and an eye out for this car. Cheers Mick

Great news! This morning Nige called me to let me know that his Skyline has been recovered by ACT Police! Apparently the idiot who stole it, took it to a wrecker (who had nothing to do with the theft) and asked him to strip the car so that he (the thief) could use the parts for his own R32 Gtst... The wrecker thought that it was suspicious that someone would ask him to strip a perfectly good car and called the police, however he had already pulled nearly everything off or out of the car beforehand. The thief has been aprehended and Nige will be reimbursed for any damages or loss. Thanks to all who kept their ears to the ground and an eye out for this car, it is much appreciated! Cheers Mick

If we wanted a banner that didnt have a car picture in it but still represented the club and location, we could have something like this... (see attachment). Why cant I link pictures from my Photobucket account? - Every time I try I get the message "Sorry, dynamic pages in the tags are not allowed...

Sounds like a great idea, I think we should definitely organise it. I'm not trying to pick on Mark's banners, they are quite good... What I'm saying is that the banner needs to be simple and striking. If there is too much going on it wont draw the spectators eye.

They're just chopped photos with some blending and text... The banner should represent the ACT, it should contain images of an ACT landmark (Parliament house, Telstra Tower etc) and of course a nice clean Skyline or two. If the background is to busy or there are too many colours it wont stand out as much from a distance and it wont attract peoples attention as it will just blend into its surroundings. P.S. Mark - I dont think that the design with me making a stupid face represents the club very well...

They are certainly good drawings and $77.00 isnt a bad price either... I wonder if the price is for pre drawn cars only and if its more for a personalised drawing
