  1. Are you kidding me?? Obviously you dont know how much power there is available for a small outlay from Supra motors - 2JZ and 1JZGTE for example... We would be made to look like Volkswagen's compared to big hitter Supra's. I think that Skylines only is a better idea.
  2. I'll still be in for $165.00, but I dont like the idea of a set date after Ive paid, what if I cant get time off work?
  3. Apparently it belongs to Jerry at J-Racing.
  4. What has that got to do with anything? How many different brands and patterns of tyres have you used? Im sure that you havent tried them all and if you had you wouldnt make comments like that.
  5. If its really stiff you probably have the imported "Jap" TEIN's or the more track focused ones, the super streets are quite comfortable. Your problem wont go away by adjusting the shocks, Im pretty sure it will be stiff because the spring rates are really heavy.
  6. LOL, we love wet weather up here cos we dont have a drift track to use Canberra is in lock down after 9pm on week nights...
  7. Sorry Andrew - Skyline drivers only... Heh heh heh
  8. Youre a good salesman Andrew but $350.00 is still outside my budget...
  9. +1 for ESP. They're really nice guys and I think we should give them a go... Plus they're customers of mine
  10. Hmmmm, rain = wet road... Wet road + semi slick tyres = little to no traction... This might be fun
  11. ESP - 6299 4444 Ask for Glenn or Daniel.
  12. Oh well, doesnt mean that we cant meet up tonight...
  13. Great stuff! The more the merrier (to a certain extent)! What do you drive Ryan?
  14. SOOOOO.... Mister Goodyear tyres needs some track rubber huh??? Hehehehe I might be able to help out there Chris
  15. Im in - I'll bring the Federal tent again...
  16. We have weekly meets, at the National Museum, but not everyone can always make it... Perhaps we should meet up tonight?
  17. Welcome Goldy, You will be able to find any info you need on Skylines and the "Skyline life" in these forums, they're a wealth of information. Firstly - Trojan motorsports Mitchell, ESP racing Queanbeyan, Autotech performance Fyshwick - All are great shops for servicing and modification around Canberra. There are plenty of shops that will help you out with vehicle servicing but the three I just named above would be my first choices. If you need info on keeping your new baby clean there are plenty of us that know a secret or two about detailing and if you do a search for "Detailing" on the local ACT forum you will find lots of tips to help you with the best products and hints to get the best result. As for not leaving your new Skyline in places after dark - Dont ever leave it in ANY shopping centre car park for an extended period (if you go to the movies or something) because unfortunately theives target Skylines, try to avoid taking it anywhere near Queanbeyan too (their not so friendly over the border - joke). Anywho, you should come out to the Museum one Friday night to meet us... We'll arrange to get as many people as we can out there soon. Cheers Mick
  18. One vote for ESP from me... Im in.
  19. What is everyones problem with black or dark???? Solid white or outline white lettering on a dark background stands out much more to the reader than the standard black on white... Is anyone else going to submit something or decide on some dimensions?? Or am I the only person interested in making contributions to the design?
  20. So what happens if you had coilovers installed before the rule came into affect? I suppose that makes F*ck all difference to them, because they arent the ones having to fork out for an engineers certificate... Bastards.
  21. Gel cel battery? - What a crock of sh!t, I think that if the car was made in the early 90's designed for a normal acid battery then thats what the rules should be... I suppose that they think if you have a head on smash and the battery comes through the cabin the acid might burn you? - I would think that if you have a head on smash hard enough to dislodge the battery that severly you would have bigger drama's than getting some acid on you! F*cking rego rules p*ss me right off these days! Rant over.
  22. Yeah, youre supposed to use demineralised water to help stop rusting, but coolant nearly always has a rust inhibitor in it to help keep the system clean. Shell - was it one litre of coolant pre mix or coolant concentrate? The concentrate stuff will make about 7 litres out of one bottle.
  23. ITS ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!!
  24. Noisy? Dont you drive a Skyline? - You shouldnt be able to hear them over your exhaust note
  25. Sounds good, I'll take you for a spirited drive with my RS' on so you can have a feel of how they perform if you like
