  1. I'll pay for one, I like being the only SAU ACT'er that has the rights to an Autosalon trophy
  2. Thanks, yeah it was definately worth the trip... I love Sydney and I love Autosalon so its win win Im there next year for sure, but I'll have few more goodies on the car by then The officials didnt say anything about displaying the tyres or the flyers/banner, I think that we were just small enough to get under the radar luckily, but we had the Buddyclub stand next us too so maybe they thought it was a part of theirs... Either way it all went well.
  3. Pics are in the NSW Autosalon threads...
  4. Youre very welcome Paul, we were happy to help out. Thanks for the beers on Saturday night! You deserved that "Tough as nails" trophy there wasnt another car there that could do everything Twoogle can! I think people are forgetting that SAU NSW was the major part of the display but there was a certain little R32 Gtst that drove all the way there to represent SAU ACT... I know that ACT isnt a recognised "club" but I think that award counts for both NSW and ACT doesnt it? Anyway... Bring on next year!
  5. Youre welcome Paul... It must be because of the brilliant detailing job done by some awesome people on the night
  6. Oh and I cant forget this one... Some of us had a big night on Saturday
  7. Some more...
  8. What a show! Im so stoked that we took out the award for best club attitude!! Well done to all involved! And a HUGE congrats to Paul for the 502kw world record run! Oh and the car LOOKED hot too I took 104 pictures so Im only going to attach a few...
  9. I just got the same e-mail, says 4pm...
  10. 148rwkw? Are you sure that figure is correct? You should be making a lot more than that... No offence intended.
  11. Woah!! The resemblance is uncanny!!
  12. I guess that depends on how many tyres you buy...
  13. Just another update on Federal Tyres... The official launch of the new Federal 595RS - R was held in Taiwan recently... (See link) http://www.driftworks.com/articles/Driftin...-Taiwan,32.html This new development will be available in Australia soon (probably next year) and is a re-inforced, slightly softer version of the existing 595RS, which means that it will be better for circut racing and hillclimb as it will gather heat quicker, but it will still maintain the consistency and reliability of the 595RS that we know and trust. For those who need a tyre for drifting it will be better aswell as the carcas construction is stronger meaning less flex in the casing... Note: if you plan on drifting on 595RS-R you will need to have some serious power at the wheels because it is a pretty sticky tyre Attached are some piccies of some drifters from Taiwan and the USA testing the new tyre... Looks good when its smoking! Enjoy.
  14. Mine is an R32 Gtst (with R33 Gtst running gear)...
  15. Can anyone tell me if its worth trying to get a train from the arena to Parramatta at 10pm? Or can someone give me and my missus a lift? Pretty please... Im staying in Parra on Friday night, but I'll be at the Ibis Homebush after that...
  16. I think "someone" needs a smacked bottom -
  17. LOL, they're parked at Macca's... I didnt know that they were selling donuts now But seriously, using an R34 as an unmarked cop car... Not cool.
  18. Well, Im probably not as stretched as then DrDoof, but fuel for the trip there and back is an easy $140.00...
  19. I'll have to talk to you about it when I get there... I dont have a lot of spare cash at the moment but Im sure I can work it out.
  20. Hmmm, I'll bring the tyres anyway and if I get told off I'll just chuck them in the boot... If they fit. LOL Frank! Thats funny... Yeah Im preparing for the longish trip. I dont mind it though, I love going up to Sydney for the weekend. ACT not interstate?? Last time I checked we were a totally independant territory... We even have our own government... Bloody tight ass Autosalon organisers... Oh well, if I have to pay I will.
  21. Well done Jeno... Youre such an ambassador for the brand... P.S. Your cheque is in the mail
  22. If youre in the market for tyres, Im happy to help out. PM me for pricing...
  23. Heh heh, yeah the "dude from Canberra" is staying at the Ibis Homebush on Saturday and Sunday night... The name is Mick by the way... P.S. My boss wants me to display some tyres at the show... If I bring 2 Federal tyres and set them up around my car will I get in trouble from the organisers? Is that "not done" if youre not a trade stand?
  24. If youre looking for a low profile tyre that will handle dirt roads, highway driving and perform well in "spirited" driving, I think youre sh!t out of luck. If youre looking for a tyre that will give you all round performance for a good price, I can help.
