Just thought that everyone might like to know that the latest edition of Ignition DVD has the Canberra hot spot in it, there are a few quick shots of Skylines, very bad quality video though... You do get to see Frink (Luke) making an ass of himself when he gets interviewed by the presenter though... Its worth a look if you were there on the night.

Hey guys... Come on, we're talking about GCG turbo's here, not some backyard outfit. There are a lot of things that you need to take into consideration - what these guys go through every single day, they probably get a dozen of these claims a week and 90% of them are probably due to the owners (or mechanics) failure to keep up maintenance on the turbo, so when they get one like this they have to look at it in an unbias way... Im not saying that you damaged your turbo, Im only saying that there is no possible way for you to be sure that there wasnt any oil contamination or any other unforseen problem, and there is no way for GCG to be sure that you didnt do something to the turbo or the engine to produce the damage. GCG have been great to me, very helpful and informative and willing to chat... They wouldnt have the name that they do if they didnt do a good job. You can please some of the people all of the time or all of the people some of the time, not both. Sorry to hear it though mate, I wouldnt be happy either.

I'll tell you what I hate... The other night I was coming home from a mates place and it had been raining, the road was as slippery as driving on marbles but I controlled myself and kept a good smooth line around corners... I drove like grandma, cos I didnt want to attract to much attention. But as I turned into the street before mine the tail slid around on me so I just kept the boot in it and drove it through a smooth drift rather than jump on the brakes and smack a gutter... After I got the car straight again (doing less than 40kmh) I saw 2 women on the side of the road shaking their little fingers at me (like the TV commercial). THAT pisses me off, just because I know how to drive and I can control a car in a slide I get classed as a "young hoon" I would love to see what those 2 old women would have done if they were in the same position... Thats the problem these days, if you are a competent driver and you can control a car if it goes into a sudden slide your calssed as a "street racer" or drifter and your instantly dubbed a "hoon"... What happend to the good old days when you were classed as a good driver if you had experience in defensive driving, or wet weather skid control??

There's no proof on that site... You could put anyones plate up on there and say anything about them and people would believe you... How can they proove that you have done anything wrong? If its designed to slow people down I dont think that it is very affective.

Yeah, I work for Federal Tyres and Im always pushing the product.... It works though, and so do the tyres I was running them "all round" for Texikhana and I think I did pretty darn well
