Stevo NO! Youve had that car for such a short time, its a damn shame to sell it... Cant you just sacrifice a few luxurys so that you can keep it? You know, things like food, clothes and other non essential things like that?? I know I would if it came down to being able to keep my car. Well anyway, if you cant be convinced to keep it then let me know if there's anything I can do to help - Im always there to help a fellow SAU'er... I wish you bad luck with the sale and good luck with the employment mate

Hey Shell Im definatly coming but the missus isnt - shes in Sydney that weekend for the Robbie Williams concert. Why you wouls want to go see him and not hang with the coolest Skylines around is beyond me. Thanks.
-
Hmmm Sounds like a good excuse for a trip... But would it be worth it to go all that way and have it over in under 8 seconds? Im more of a Circut racing and Drift fan. But Im still interested.

Bullet32 replied to LTSJayce's topic in Australian Capital Territory

R31 - RB25DET NEO engine (R34) and gearbox (R33) 3. R33 GTS4 - RB26DETT (R32) 4. R32GTST - RB25DET and gearbox (R33) 5. R31 - RB20DET and gearbox (R32) Removals / Replacements include: 1. Whats Involved With Bleeding The Brakes?
Bullet32 replied to R3sp3ct's topic in Australian Capital Territory
Steve, dont go playing around with your brakes when you dont have a good idea of what your doing! Brakes are extremely important. If you want your brakes bled and the fluid changed, send me a text with when your free and you can come round and Ill take you through it. Free of charge... Incase you dont trust me to play with your brakes either, ask Luke (Frink) how good his brakes felt after I installed his braided lines and bled his brakes. -
Concerning Nick, very concerning! Did someone say AA meeting?? Jokes
-
I just texted you... Save my number incase you need anyhting else. Youre hopeless with numbers and adresses, I hope you know that
-
Hehehe That photo of me mooning Luke is gold! I thuoght the glare from my pastey white ass would blind him coming into turn one! To my dismay, Luke is to good a driver to be put off by the passions of the flesh, Hehehe

SOLD!! Hey Shell - Ill take it! Im a medium in just about everything I wear... Do you work in Fyshwick? I do, I can meet you somewhere?
-
Go for it Andrew you need all that Protein and Iron to stay so buff!
-
Nice, Ive heard good things about you guys in the past - I dont know what happened with Shawn (race_snooze) but it sounds like I may be in to see you about a few things for my car... By the way, you obviously do alot of auto electrical. If you dont mind me asking, where do you go for all of your parts and accessories? The reason I ask is because I am a salesman at Ashdown/Ingram and we sell everything auto electrical and airconditioning and if you like I might be able to get some really good deals going for you... You know how it works - You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours Please PM me with any questions or enquiries!

I voted for the 9th - Its not to early and not to late in the year, I'll be fresh back from Autosalon too so I'll have many a story of beautiful cars to blab on about
-
Big thanks to the organiser(s) of last night it was great to see everyone and their cars again, I cant remember the last time there was that many lines together in one place. Great food too I had an awesome pizza, sorry that some (Andrew) didnt enjoy it though. A big Hooah! to Cassi for the running jump that she took at me when she arrived (I think I slipped a disc ) and for constantly rubbing my head (no dirty thought here guys) all night. Good to see everyone out - Especially the mysterious Shell, I hope that we can get just as much enthusiasm at future events... You should all come to the Jerra pub on Tuesday night for a few beers and laughs! P.S. Sorry to hear that your having dramas Jayce, I hope you get it sorted soon and if you need a hand dont hesitate to call

On the other hand - More mods are acceptable in the ACT such as a pod filter for example - they arent allowed unless theyre engineered in NSW.
-
Ill be there... Hopefully I wont get as savagely sunburnt as last year! And mabye if theres another ice cream van there I can make Cassi almost vomit by regurgitating banana ice cream with nuts again! Sounds like fun!
-
You wont be "smokin" this little black duck [silver skyline] buddy - I just got my new GT30/71R goodness plus my brand new fully adjustable TEIN coilovers installed and she goes like a cut snake, that "Volvo" will look great in my mirrors as I blast away from ya! LOL Jokes

If you have a front mount and other assorted modifications then you will have to take it to Dickson rego station for an inspection. All other shops that do checks wont touch it because theres a government regulation that states that all modified vehicles must be taken to Dickson, especially imports. The guys out at Dickson are thourough but not unfair, they will most likely accept most mods as "safe" as long as they arent really bodgy installs... Also if you have an aftermarket blowoff valve you will need to remove it and put the stock one back on because ANY atmospheric blowoff valve is classed as venting raw emissions and therefore illegal. If you have a boost controller - either hide it or take it off because they dont like them unless theyre engineered and if you have a programable ECU dont tell them because most also have to be engineered. Another good idea would be to fit a "rego" rear muffler to bring the noise down under 90 DB as this is the limit for a turbo 6 cylinder engine. Good luck

Well... What can a guy say?? For starters - Thanks Andrew, I hope it all works out for you... But it wasnt one simple phone call, it took me a few hours to even get a lead on where to find them. I guess I am just in a position where I know ALOT of the right peple in the auto trade and I can source many different parts without much trouble... Ive picked up alot of knowledge and experience over the past 5 years or so and Im happy to help anyone (who I deam worthy ) with any parts or tech problems that they may encounter... Thanks again guys, Im flattered... And Leigh - Im not having your babies, and I WILL take those tyres back if I have to! Hehehe

Ignition Dvd Filming In Canberra!
Bullet32 replied to evlrx40's topic in Australian Capital Territory
Bugger! I'll have pretty much all of my new mods done by then and Id love to get on the DVD, but if the cops show and check my car I'll be screwed! Hmmmm what to do, what to do! -
Im there!! I should have the new turbo, injectors, pump, coilovers, castor rods and camber kit fitted by then
-
Mate, Its no good putting a turbo kit on an N/A engine because it just wont work properly unless you pull the engine apart and put decompressed internals in it... Ive done non-turbo to turbo engine swaps in a few cars... I will be completely honest with you, its not worth it... Because you will have to have it engineered for it to be road legal and no engineer worth his ticket will engineer an R33 with a turbo motor when it has 4 stud hubs and non turbo brakes, you would need to change them too and they would be stupidly expensive, plus you would need the computer, wiring, and mabye even gearbox and an r33 gtst half cut (which should have all of that) will cost a minimum $5000. Like the other guys have said - Sell it and just buy a GTsT
-
Its the cars that make the photo Mark not the photographer....

SOFT! Whats with the empty edited posts Beau??

No no no the Hybrid motor isnt in either car, its still a project... Just plain old Twin cam turbo RB's for us for now
