  1. Silver C34 Stagea, turning onto Marmion ave from Burns Beach road, around 9:15 this morning.
  2. Thanks Your yellow beast with the Dayz kit looks nice too.
  3. Thanks. No tripod, was handheld with a Pentax K-5 DSLR with a fast 50mm lens. Had to crank the ISO up to 3200, but you can't really tell at this small size.
  4. Thanks guys. Drove it all round the place today so I'm starting to get the hang of it now. So quiet and smooth with the stock exhaust, can barely hear the RB growl or the turbo. Might need to fix that... Yeah the wheels have grown on me and the offset isn't half bad. Anyone recommend a good shop for an alarm install? Or a particular system? cheers
  5. Took some quick snaps tonight.
  6. SA plates yeah for the moment anyway. What sort of camera?? Here's a quick snap I took tonight. Stock as.
  7. Picked up my silver C34 s2 Stagea this morning. Already spotted someone in a pearly white C34 s2 on Wanneroo rd, about 1pm. Was that anyone? Pretty sure the driver didn't see me.
  8. Yeah, I realise. I was just curious as to why the car might have failed the inspection. Just picked up my Stagea from the autotrans depot this morning. Bought it in SA. I'll have to take it to the pits to get a WA rego soon; not looking forward to that part. Will post a pic when possible, maybe later today
  9. Nice Shane. Excluding the R32 rims I wonder why the Jag failed?
  10. I'm new around here... kinda. Haven't quite got my Stagea yet, but here's my non-Stagea: Fairly stock, still has the original redtop RB20
  11. It's getting close to the weekend and I'm looking forward to checkin out some WA Stageas Currently I have a silver s2 coming from interstate but it wont be here by the weekend. Look out for the "little" black HR31.
  12. Pete? You're a Stagea owner these days? Cool!
  13. G'day Western Stagea owners, I don't have a Stagea yet but I'm looking at getting one in the next few weeks. Would love to come and say hello at the cruise on 25 Sept. Pretty sure I wont have the Stagea by then, so I hope it's OK if I rock up in my HR31 GTS-X Kinda in the same family anyway... cheers
  14. Hi all Been registered on this site for years but it might be time to actually become active. Looking at getting a C34 S2 stagea soon. Name: Jason Location: NOR Work: IT Software I drive a: HR31 Skyline GTS-X Cruise/event attendance rate: not sure, would like to attend some Hobbies: Aircraft, Photography, Cars Might be of use contacting me for: R31 info??
  15. Hey Birds, yeah I agree. If a similar car can be found already in manual its a much easier option. Saying that, I have fallen into your exception category I also think that a conversion on an R31 might be cheaper and easier than some other cars...
  16. Hi, I lurk on SAU mostly, but I own a HR31 coupe and have done manual conversions on aussie R31s before. Tailshaft - If possible, the easiest thing would be to get a complete manual tailshaft from a HR31. Other than that, I believe the tailshaft yoke is different between auto and manual. You could possibly get a new tailshaft made out of your old auto one, but I believe you will need the manual yoke to suit your manual box. ECU/wiring - If you were keeping the standard engine, this would be easy, as you can keep the auto ECU and modify the wiring to negate the auto's neutral switch (basically connect two wires together). WHat engine are you going to? Speedo sender - Yes you can use the same one from the auto in the R31. However it may get a bit inaccurate, if it wasn't already. Cross member - Usually the easiest thing is to get the manual one if possible. Again this probably depends on what engine and box you are going to. Not sure if you can use the auto crossmember. When I have done auto to manual before I have always had a manual one. HR31s don't have a clutch cable, it's a hydraulic clutch So you will need: - Clutch master cylinder (one from a local skyline will also work) - Clutch lines (could probably also get these from a local skyline if neccessary) - Clutch slave cylinder (can be bought new for ~$27 if u need, once again ask for local skyline part) - clutch pushrod (if you get a secondhand clutch slave it should come with this. basically its just a metal bar) Good luck man, it may seem like a big job, but it's worth it.
  17. Hey mate, PM'ed you regarding brake calipers again, after my other sale has gone sour...
  18. Hey mate, whats the go with the calipers I PM'ed you about?
  19. Sorry to go back a couple of pages, but I was the driver of the wrecked HR31. Did any of you guys happen to be there to witness the crash? Because I could really do with as much help as possible in terms of witnesses and such.
