maTE IM NOT GETTING CONFUDSED ABOUT NOTHING YOU SAID IT WAS "ON ROAD FOR 30 k" !.....NOW YOUR TELLING ME YOUR DOING THE SUMS..... yoU CANT send A CAR IN UNLESS YOU HAVE THE "IMPORT APPROVALs" FROM CANBERRA SO UNLESS YOU ARE A RAWS SOMEONE MUST HAVE QUOTED YOU TO IMPORT THE CAR ON YOU BEHALF and or is selling you the plates otherwise it will sit on the jap docks for a very long time (and dont send it FOB on the next boat) ......cause it will need to be sent back out of AUS until you do and you wont get much change out of $80 a day in docked holding fees,i f you leave it on the docks in AU while you figure it out. Personal imports are a completely differant thing. And the process aint that easy, its a lot of PRE-paperwork, then again who is paying for the change overs, the xenon lights etc ? someone has to pay for the parts and at say $3k for new light kit it now owes you 33k, my comments where based on a total price landed and complied as you stated, now im not sure what to make of your post whats in or out, im assuming you have brought in other Raws cars and have included all costs in your "on the road Price" and unless your also a freight forwarder or Customs agent who will release it from customs ? You have to at some point use a middle man to do somthing ? Also unless something has changed in the last 8 months it is only worth being yours (As far as a valueble asset) when it clears customs and all the paperwork for import is correct and released ( and only an import approval can do that otherwise it goes in the crusher or you send it back to the aucton house for resale or storage till you do.) Unless your bringing it in under some other scheme. I hope for your sake dude you have done your own homework and not used the internet "advise" on how easy it is. For the record i have brought in 8 cars under SEVS and 3 cars under RAWs and my last car was a supra some 8 months ago , it was such a pain in the arse that it will be the last car i bring in. Maybe it was a Junior thing all these kids that went for these cars where 90% plus loand and under 21 so maybe the bank had "special " rules for them. Probally good idea as most of them sold them with in 12 months as they couldnt keep up the payments (mac 'ers cant be paying much ) ehehehe

If you read my post...... NO ONE DRIVE THE CAR. If they pay a deposit they can sit behind the wheel - but only in the driveway ;op. I even do all my own spanner work cause no cutn sit in my ride. Well Nsmo34 your a lucky man and probally cause your in QLD. I have imported over 10 cars and some for other little punks and thier banks would never let them take out a loan on a car unless it had a REGO number. Dont shoot the messenger but that was the deal in SA. Im just making the guy aware that if he Buying O/S and is financing make sure the bank will cough up before he signs the paperwork.

An R34 thats immmaculate - but i would now like to sell her. Im a 35 yr old professional and i look after my toys. Personally imported by me nearly 3 years ago now this car was has been looked after. This sex machine has a Trick split system exhaust, HKS digital boost, hyper D with parcel self adjustment, etc etc. However, it looks classy and has never had a second look from the cops, it has all the quality fittings under its shell without it looking like a retarted drift/Jap wannabe. Its low KM, its artic white and i have 3 differant rims you can choose from depending on how much you spend, ill even put up my white nismo racing 18x9.5 if it makes you interested. This car is a SMOOTH body and you dont see many of them on the road ! Help needed anyone got an english or now where to start looking wiring diagram for an R34 gtst. My rear wiper has stopped but i cant find the micro switch. the unit actually runs if yopu short it out so i now its ok. somthings just adrift and i need help to follow the leads........ also need wiring diagram - or ideas for my 2.5tt soarer the window are stuck in the down position and the "ABS" light is on on the dash.
