Well the budget of around 3400 on accomadation, flights, taxs and anything arriving and departing Japan sounds reasonable. I dont might spend more money in japan for food and attractions. The drifting I was hoping that we could get down to an organisied event but i wouldnt might seeing street drifting. Well we where hoping on getting there a week before AutoSalon so around 4-5th of January and leaving around the 20th of January but these dates are not 100% so they will most probaly change

My mates and I (6 in total) want to go to Japan for the Toyko AutoSalon in 2008 too. As this is the first we will be going to Japan can someone advise us on the best places to stay, transport (i have read some of the replies and it seems rail is the best mode), rough costings (i have read 3400 previously), anything we should see while we are there. We would like to go a week before AutoSalon to see some sites, some drifting and maybe go to an autobak (super car parts stores) (i think thats what they are called) And if anyone has any recommendation I am all ears!!. Hi I am in the market to buy a metalhead gasket for my gtr but when i was looking through the greenline website i found that the gasket size were either 87mm or 88mm and as we all know the standard size is 86mm. Greenline website Can anyone tell which one of these will fit a standard gtr engine? Also which size (thickness) of headgasket (ie 1.0mm or 1.2mm) would be the optimum? And yes i have done searches. Hi I am interested in the CUSCO 'Offset Number Stay' (License plate side mounting kit) - R32 GTS-T but iam not 100% sure if it is what i think it is. Does it move the number plate from the centre to the left or right (cant remember) and if yes will it fit a R32 GTR? Thanks

Hi I found this awesome site which is tirerack.com and they have a awesome selection of tires, but when i emailed him asking about the price of delivery to Perth he quoted me $641USD for just a pair of tires . So my question is has anyone ever brought tires from the website and what did you pay for transport. Thanks

And i have to agree with Dsturbd about the quality of these cars that they import. gazza750 i have had the same problem with them being able to get any part, but they do have clear tail lights for 180's
