    Hi all Was talking to a friend of mine last night and he mentioned that Apexi has stopped making the Power Fc. One of the reasons was that they couldnt get their hands on the rom chip. Now does any know as a fact that Apexi has stopped making them? And if so do you know the reason. Cheers

    well if your are after a standard one, then a nissan dealer can get you one. Also you can get a GTR N1 one from Northside Nissan for around $400 brand new.

    Was looking at the Redbook and found this: NISS92BT HR32 GTR Coupe 2dr Man 5sp 4WD 2.6T and it worth like $110 000 when new, i didnt know GTR's came in single turbo versions and its worth more then the imported version or that a typo?

    Yeah ordered one from GTRgeoff, arrived on friday and installed it on saturday. So much crap to remove, at least its easier to get to the oil filter!! All i am waiting for is a wheel alignment!!

    Yeah bad news not even hyperdrive has one, but if you wait about 2 weeks Xspeed is making their own and it should be ready by then! Jshop doesnt have any either. But i couldnt wait anymore!! as the HICAS was really getting to me!

    Thanks Guys So have any of you had any bad experiences with these lock bars? ie, breaking under load, bad worksmanship on the unit (crap welding etc) Cheers

    I had a look, but there is only one and its (from what i know) a different version as mine is the projector type!

    Cheers guys BezerkR32: when you said its a boost controller problem we have a greddy electronic boost controller, could that be the problem. I Thought that an electronic one could modify the boost so that the boost curve even. But would the wastegate give you more control over the boost (eg smoother boost curve etc)

    oh ok i will check it out thanks but dosent the boost become unsteady when you go over 14psi on a internal wastegate as its to small to pass enough exhaust gas through

    ok so whats the price for one of these timing belts?

    well the car is running about 14psi which is fine for about 300Hp@wheels, but hyperdrive has told us that to increase the boost and to hold it at a steady rate that we will need a external wastegate! So that way we can aim at for about 350HP@wheels!

    Thanks Busky2k Now iam not 100% sure on how this works, but when you want to increase boost do you just put in a new spring or is there an adjustment?

    Hi all I have a 180sx (Sr20) that has a Garrett disco potate (2540), now i have been told that i need a external wastegate so that i can increase the boost pressure because the internal one isnt good enough! Now I am not sure size of wastegate i should get! Thanks
