thanks again and yeah ceedub thats what i though too, it feels like the car is crab walking done the road (well so to speak) but it all happens at speeds above 80 and only sometimes. Now i have done the wheel aligment and new tires, now all thats left is the rest and bushes. but i will still lock the hicas!! What bushes did you replace exactly, cause i have had the front castor bushings replaced!

thanks guys yeah iam going to get rid of the hicas, but i was just wondering if it was something else!! I do have a set of steering rack bushings waiting to go in! the weird thing is that when i move the steering wheel the steering is exact so what i mean is that when i turn the steering wheel the car turns instantly! no delay and not sliding (on the rack)

i dont see how the steering rack is stuffed, cause how would going over a certain speed cause the steering angle to change, the only reason i can see the angle changing is via the hicas cause it switch on over a cartain speed, also the problem comes and goes so my guess is a sensor is stuffed, cause if it was mechanincal then it would occur all the time and the same speed.

Hi all I have a problem with my Hicas on my R32 GTR, now when i drive the car under 80km/h the steering is fine including the direction of the steering wheel. But when i go over 80km/h then i have to turn the steering wheel to the right about 90 degrees for the car to drive straight! and then after a while of this the Hicas light turns on and the you can feel the wheels turn back to the orignal position, the worst thing is that this doesnt happen all the time and so its hard to show the professionals so that they can fix it! Is the steering sensor stuffed? any help is appreciated!!!

mate, i use red line oil for my R32 GTR in the gearbox, diffs and transfer case!. And must say a hugh improvement in gear changes and the no diff noise!! Just make sure you get the right oil, go to the red line website they have a list of oils for your car!!

umm arent non turbo R33 4 stud and turbo 5 stud? so that means you need a new set of rims, if your changing the whole brake setup!!

Sorry to hear mate Some thing happened to my brothers car about 3 weeks ago. They stolen a E-01 Boost controller, but they cut the cable that goes under the dash so the unit was useless to them!!!! If you hear anything about people buying parts for an E-01 can you please inform me. And they also stolen an amp and sub!! I have a feeling its the same people, idiots dont know anything about imports or electronics!!! cheers

Yeah it was a nice big dent (actually more of a bend), and because it has a bit of dish and chrome it had to be straightened with heat, so that means it had to be poslished and that also meant that the rim had to be taken apart (its 2 piece rim) so that it could be polished properly. I would recommed swan tyres in ozi park, alliance took 3 weeks to get my rim done (and gave me shit excuses and service), while the guy at swan tyres said he could do it in a day (that was once i got pissed off at allaince and started looking else where)!

Well iam paying $220 for the repair and polishing for that one rim!

the worst thing is that when they tried to steal the E-01 they cut the cable going under the dash, which meant that they took the screen and the controller but not the main unit or the solenoid and pressure sensor under the hood, so they where not very intelligent!!

Hi all as the topic states, my brothers car was broken into this morning 12/06 around 3:30am and these where the things that where stolen : 1. E-01 greddy boost (the one that looks like a tv screen) (this is thing iam most annoyed about) 2. Pioneer Mono "D class" 1000W block amplifier 3. Pioneer 12" subwoofer in a Pioneer box We live in joondalup, so it could be around that area! So if anyone hears of (quokka/mate) or knows of anyone that has just acquired any of the above objects I would love to hear from you Thanks
