  1. Also, as per last year, Justdave will be there to cover the cruise and submit the photos to magazines.
  2. Does anyone have a few fold up sterdy tables that they can bring on the day?
  3. Oh really? So I don't need to buy the wiring harness? Thanks Warwick! I might find out how much it's going to cost to install it.
  4. I'd prefer something brand new. Chaos, you got ripped! Nengun have them for $101 delivered. Plus $15 for the wiring harness...
  5. Can any of you guys recommend a turbo timer that you actually have that works well? My trusty ol HKS one has shit itself So I'm in the market for a new one and at the moment I'm looking at the Greddy auto timer and wiring harness. Anyone got any other options? I'd prefer it if the casing was black... And I'd like it to have the auto mode so it runs the timer for how long it thinks it needs to after a hard/easy drive. Thanks!
  6. Great to see a lot of the older school SAu people coming out
  7. You are all very cruel
  8. Chris: That would be great. I just have to ask Dirk if we'll have enough money in the club to fund a sausage sizzle. If this does go ahead, I'll need some help carting the food/drinks out to the dam.. plus we might need tables and the like. I'll let everyone know once I've spoken to Dirk.
  9. Depends on how much I need to do on the day.. But your most welcome to organise and lead a group from Springwood.
  10. I've just posted it on QSC. Depending on how we approach the Sausage sizzle, I might need a few cars to pack stuff into. I'll work this out in the next few days. Please don't get upset if I don't respond straight away, I've been really busy at work..
  11. The mother has got the most amazing stripes on her and these kittens have also gained the lines. If I had room for another cat I would.. but my little girl gets cranky at me for just looking at them
  12. The long awaited Massive Skyline Cruise has come upon us once again (albeit quicker than I thought!) In line with last years efforts, we will be collecting money for the Royal Childrens Hospital Christmas Appeal. ALL money raised will be given to the hospital on the 2nd December 2005. Now, the important information. The MSC will head towards Somerset Dam with a starting point of Aspley Hypermarket. From the Aspley Hypermarket, we will head out towards dayboro/kilcoy (same direction as last years MSC) and then heaf off from there towards the dam. The cruise this time will consist of about a 1 hour drive. There will be very limited stops but we have/will take into consideration families attending this cruise. Once we get to the dam, we will fire up some bbq's and have a nice friendly bbq outing at the dam. If possible, I might try and get a few group shots of the cars all lined up along the dam wall. Your most welcome to bring some equipment for cricket/football or any other activities that can be played in an open area. This is the 4th Massive Skyline Cruise that has been run and is a great day out for enthuisiasts and familes alike. All Skylines, Cefiros, Stageas and Laurels are invited to attend this cruise. If you have any questions, please contact me through this thread or PM. Itineries will be posted after next weekend. I will also print a few out for people on the day. SEE YOU ALL THERE! Lets get all your Skyline/Cefiro/Stagea/Laurel friends together and make this Massive Skyline Cruise the best one yet! Please help the kids and donate genorously. Last year we donated $1000, this year I have a target of $1500. You never know when you may need the hospital. You may just save a childs life. (Note: I am aware there is Chictorque cruise on this weekend, but the MSC has always been tentatively booked in for this day to co-incide with the Royal Childrens Hospital Christmas Appeal. Having just received my information pack from the hospital, I am now advertising this cruise.) 13. Hehe.. everyone keeps asking that!
  14. Just wondering whether any of you would like a kitten? Or know of someone who might want one.. Our next door neighbour's cat has had kittens again and have asked me if I knew anyone that might want one.. There are 4, they are only abuot 3 weeks old so they will need to stay with their mother for at least another 3 or so.. There are 3 tabby/stripped ones (2 male and 1 female) and 1 male ginger one. If you would like to take one of them off my hands, PLEASE let me know! If we can't find anyone to take them, they will most likely go to the pound I'd take one, but I've already got a cat that demands way too much of my attention and theres no room for another. Attached below are pictures..
  15. YOU were the one that was in a daze this time.. I was waving for ages before you looked up!
  16. If your going to get a powerfc... i'd suggest going to Matty Spry (used to be employed by chiptorque but went out on his own).. I haven't heard one bad thing yet about Matty..
  17. I already use crappy old doonahs but I'd rather the peace of mind knowing that there something a bit thicker on there... I also hate going down the next day (... like today!) and take all the sopping wet doonahs off..
  18. I was expecting it to be around $200.. What's the brand name of the cover Col? My boss has an account with Autobarn so I might be able to get them cheaper.
  19. I got the name of the company last night and i've emailed them asking how they work, and how much they are and if theres a discount for a group buy as such.
  20. Saw a silver R34 (NEO34) tonight on the freeway heading south. As much as you are another skyline driver, please DON'T sit in the right hand lane with nothing beside you and then BLOCK me when I tried to go around a slower moving vehicle then slow down again once I went around the left.
  21. Does anyone know the name of a company that makes "hail blankets"? I know theres one that has an advertisement on the wall near the escalators going up to the food court at Logan Hyperdome.... Does anyone know who they are? With the amount of storms we've had in the past few weeks, and the supposed forcasted bad storm season that lay ahead in the next few months, I'm seriously considering buying a hail blanket... I'd rather spend $200 and prevent the $2500 expense I'd have to fork out through insurance just to claim.. Any information on companies that make these inventions would be great!
  22. Thanks for helping out Shane, it was a good day I hope we get those pics of our cars they took!
  23. Ask Dirk for a statement on the clubs financial status?
  24. When I was younger in a friends car coming back from the coast, I remember vividly some youths dropping a beer bottle off the overpasses on the M1 around Wet and Wild and it hitting just near the side mirror. It was pretty scarey! I always look at overpasses now... and get all scared when I see someone standing o nit.
  25. The reason the calendar isn't going ahead from the clubs point of view is, it's too much money to fork out which would leave the club with very little.
