  1. Still haven't been replaced? Shit eh. I'd be having words about that.
  2. Solex locks aren't going to stop someone smashing a window or busting the whole lock out. All solex do is stop someone from putting a screw driver into the lock.
  3. I think we are all guilty when it comes down to being nieve on this subject. I know I am and I never thought about this type of thing till Dan wrote this thread. Kinda scarey.
  4. Those M Spec front bars are becoming rare... So I'd hold on to it a while and get good money in about 12 months time when everyone has cut them up and wants to put a standard one back on.
  5. Jas, I'm the events co-ordinator for the qld skyline club and we've got a pretty full events calendar over the next few months so feel free to organise a cruise on behalf of the forum members. But just be made aware, that people are a bit hesitant to attend a cruise organised by someone they don't know. So get out there and attend events and become known amongst the chumps. As people have stated above, build it and they will come. No point having heaps of people sitting here saying they want crusies/meets if no ones willing to put their hand up and take charge
  6. It's at the Hyperdome in the new eatery area near Hogs Breath and the movies. They normally meet around 7pm/
  7. Alternatively, a few of the guys go to cactuc jacks at Loganholme every Tuesday night for dinner.
  8. JAD35 JDL35 JEW31 (jade is a gemstones, jewels) *shrugs* Some ideas.
  9. For tyres, I normally just go to Bob Jane and get federal tyes. I don't do any hardcore circuit racing or drifting, I mainly do drag and I've only ever had one problem with the front tyre and it got replaced without any charge. Plus being a member of SAu QLD, you get a discount at Bob Jane
  10. Bump. It's on this friday guys, everyone is welcome and a sausage sizzle and drinks will be provided.
  11. Please don't keep posting this everytime you want it on the front page. One thread is sufficient enough. The search function is there for a reason. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=71276
  12. Bugger hey, 5 years and no defects is good going though At least they got you for actual defects, not trivial things like an empty washer bottle and stuff. Good luck getting them fixed. Question with your gauges though, were they in a holder up the a pillar? Did you have 1 or 2.
  13. Thanks for everyone that attended, I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and everyone felt welcome without being left out. That exclusive parking was worth it I reckon. For 1, not walking up all those stairs and for 2, the photo opportunies that could be had.
  14. But you are going to receive conflicting information from cops because they all obide by different rules. You'll have one person who thinks a pod filter isn't illegal and one that gives you a defect notice.
  15. Gavin's a Nissan specialist, so I cant sat I've ever seen supra's in there. I've got an R33 and I'm located on the southside of Brisbane.
  16. Nathan, we should be (all things going to plan) driving up to Cairns in the last week of July and coming back in the first week of August. Looking at leaving brissie on the 28th July and getting to Cairns on the evening of 29th July and we will most likely leave 2nd August. I'll let you know when we definitely know we will be coming.
  17. Depends on what type of service/work your after. Different people prefer different companies. I prefer to use Gavin Woods - Autotech (www.autech.net.au) as I have done for the past 3 years. Mercury Motorsport are getting up there with a highly regarded workshop which is always full of performance cars. Just depends on your personal preference of company.
  18. Best thing to do would be to search the forums but seeming I'm already replying I'll tell you the below three. Gavin Woods - Autotech (Gold Coast) www.autech.net.au Matty Spry - PITS (Gold Coast) Mercury Motorsport (Brisbane)
  19. Jimboomba isn't actually that far out anymore with the new motorway going in there. Were they heading towards Jimboomba or back towards Browns Plains? Did it still have the same plates on? If it did, these guys mustn't be that smart. EDIT: We so should have had a cruise tonight, we could have gone out there and had a look.
  20. Andrew drives heaps during the day and I've asked him to keep an eye out for it.
  21. OMFG... I'll keep an eye out but I dont really drive very far to go to work This sucks.
  22. It got deleted, the guy whinged that he wanted it deleted. I just closed it but Adrian must have caved and deleted it. EDIT: you do mean the GTR thread don't you?
