Well Gavin is a pretty top guy and hes always got nice cars there so he cant be doing anything wrong. The car has been slightly modded from factory but I'm sure he would know what hes doing... Well I hope so anyway

When we got our car serviced we were told to use only Genuine Bovine Nissan oil... But we haven't used a drop of oil since so I dont see us having to buy any in the near future. Although I see another service coming on pretty quick Too much driving. We've done 8000k's in 3 months

well there is another post somewhere on here about this We've got two. A dickie smith special uniden for $99 and a GME TX4400 with a scanner in it. So we listen to the scanner and use the talkie to talk to other people. They are the perfect little gadget for a cruise. perfect size and distance. Helps alot when cruising. Especially when looking out for cops and the like!

Well after much discussion and looking around we decided to go shopping yesterday and buy a stereo. We ended up getting a JVC KD-SH707 (http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/JVCKDSH707) Looks really nice but we've just gotta put it in the car now The guy at the store was saying that JVC is one of the top brands at the momeny with pioneer.. Is this correct or are they about as good as sony xplod? (We've been told Sony XPlod's are really really crap!) We decided to go single din because we are putting the uhf/scanner in the dash too. Well after saying that we wouldnt go down the coast.. we ended up going.. and what a shit load of cops!! They were everywhere. It ended up being a 3am morning again after we came back and went to the Roma Street Parklands. It is a good area there. Just freaking cold! This weekend we might be up for a cruise. We are putting in our new head unit and scanner/uhf this weekend so that should be cool. If Nizman wants to organise stuff... we'll be there! Hopefully.

They all sound good but you forgot a catergory for my car.. "Slowest Skyline" :lol: Sounds good. I dont think it really matters if other cars are invited to come along. It will probably be bigger with more cars than just skylines australia!

Pretty easy They aren't much bigger tahn your hand I can drive and talk at the same time. If I'm not talking I usually just clip it onto the steering wheel and listen.... Or i just throw it on the seat at other times... or the passenger talks.. one of the two

Can they hold the car till you put a deposit on it?/

Not 6 hours straight We use super cheap batteries and it lasts for a few weeks with only using it on saturday nights depending on how much you talk...

Can't.. it was andrews 21st yesterday and this weekend is full of birthday dinners and party's.. Next weekend for sure I'll be having withdrawal symptons by then :burnout:

haven't actually been to cunder park yet Everytime our friends were going to go we were in Brutis (1984 Ford Laser that has more bog than metal) so we weren't game enough because of the cops

My car is a white R33 which we bought from streetmachines and we got ripped I'm not bitter and twisted mind you :cuss: Why you ask??? My friend Mark comes down with his R33 to get work done by you. He has just had an aftermarket ECU put in last week. And if you need a receptionist.. I need a job

I push the car as hard as it will go.. Cant go any further down than the firewall... Reved it to the limiter and yeah.. It was a standing still start.. from about 60 up.. I'm not really that worried about loosing.. I'm just worried that there might be something wrong because of the problems we've had and the people we bought it off..

It is.. But you can't listen the UHF and the scanner at the one time. Its basically got 60 channels. 40 for normal UHF and the other 20 are being programmed for police on sunny coast/gold coast/brisbane. Not sure about other emergency services though. Not that you really need to worry about ambulance and fire pulling you over and taking your car off you!! The price that we have got ours for is $440 programmed. They are usually around $479 mark (RRP) but we are getting it cheaper through a friend of a friend (plus its gonna be programmed which costs $$ too) Its a GME TX4400 i think. Its a DIN size so it can still go in the dash. http://www.gme.net.au/land/tx4400_main.html There the info. Looks pretty swarve. AND to cater for my needs (cause i dont want a dirty big ugly arial sticking off the side of the car) we are gonna get a glass mount one like the coppers have. I think it will look better than off the roof or the front quarters.

How many k's you done MRE?? We did 1000k's in our first weekend!! Sunshinecoast friday night/coast saturday night then back up the sunshine coast sunday!!!

OR you could be like us and have TWO FOR SOME STUPID REASON!! But we might have two cars soon.. so the scanner/uhf will stay in my car and the handheld in the mini But also we could have it on the scanner while talking on the dicky smith special!!
