  1. I'm here.. Too busy having a giggle at Andrew
  2. Hahahahaha.....
  3. I was out when they discovered why it was running like poo.. as you knew Clint So I didn't get to take photos
  4. Then the car was too damn low to put pressure on the ball joints(?) to tighten the nuts, then they used a jack and a brick.. I left about now to go to my sisters work in the aircon.
  5. *remembers something to do with a vl... running rich in ONE cyclinder... it being restricted by ... something...
  6. Possibly Darren, although I haven't seen him and I drive Creek Road every day. Unless it was just a one time visit :S
  7. .. You saw me on boostcruising? I'm always on boostcruising.
  8. Any local dealers in Brissie/Australia, you'll pay anywhere from $800 (awesome price) to $1200 for splitfires. I paid $564 delivered from Nengun and it took exactly 1 week from payment transfer to delivery. Brent (Nengun) seems to have them the cheapest of the overseas suppliers. I think (IIRC) Greenline for around $750ish..
  9. Not the first time.. It's either the diff or the axels or something. I think he's got a diff fund at the bank anyway
  10. He broke his diff aparently. He went to sit beside that NIZ16 but when Shane down shifted, the diff broke. So he had to get it towed from Beenleigh to Annerley apparently.
  11. *giggles* I'm just watching.. I have no idea what you's are talking about and I can't be bothered reading back through.
  12. *blinks*
  13. I didn't get there. Andrew can explain why if he feels he wants to
  14. www.nengun.com IIRC the avcr's are worth around $650ish depending on the exchange rate. Everyone has different opinions on what to use, but I preferred to stay with apexi because my cooler and pfc are both apexi.
  15. I've got an AVCR but as an electronic boost controller it still spikes every now and then, but not as bad as a gated one (ie, turbosmart). My boost is set on 1bar (14.7psi). I run this all day everyday and it's been like that for about 6 months now. Normally the "safe" level on a standard series 1 turbo is 12 max of 14psi. Depends on what your game enough to run.
  16. I told him of your offer to let a "real mechanic" look at it but he said that he was sick of it and was just going to drive it to ramon's tomorrow.
  17. Thanks for the offer He's going to drive it in "small bursts" down to my sisters house at browns plains tomorrow... I don't know why he just doesn't leave it.
  18. Well this is what I'm worried about.. the person there with him is meant to be a mechanic... and my brother in law is a mechanic :S So i'm buggered if I know what they've all done.
  19. Hahah... well he got the cam reground and bought a metal head gasket. $500 later he wanted to put it all back together. Now apparently it's running "hot" .... I dont understand why. But I'm not a mechanic.
  20. Haha... OH well. I'd just like to point out that sinbad has never been off the road broken (touches wood) but brutis was constantly and now the vl is..
  21. *sigh* This is why I'll always use a mechanic. Andrew's pulled his car apart to get the cam reground and he's just finished putting it back together. He's told me just before that it's now running really hot and he's not quite sure what's wrong with it. He's meant to be getting his new ball joints put in tomorrow and the steering rack. *sigh* How come men always have to fiddle?
  22. Hewwo?
  23. I'm back but now your gone form here
  24. It hides me. Even neil saw me the other day and I was waving like mad but he couldnt see me :S
