Golden Rules of street racers. Don't race anything that sounds like a tractor and don't race Datto's. They've either got a SR20, CA18, FJ20 or are standed. So either way, your going to get your arse flogged (unless you've got some serious power) or it's not worth it

Hahah that was a good night actually. I think they eventually got the shits and drove off.. How could you not get suspicious (even if you didn't know it was a cop) of a new ute following you around when no one knew them. That night with the astra, it was following james, and I was following the astra filming it. -

My car is doing the exact same thing at the moment. I've got it booked into the mechanics on Friday to try and fix the problem. As he said, it has it's little tantrum only while cruising.. whether it's on 60/80/100kph. But if you are WOT, it seems fine?

TPS isn't expensive nor hard is it? What happens it someone puts sugar in your fuel tank? Is it sugar? .. something that ****s it anyway.

I might just go to the meet. Not sure if I should really drive it. I do have to use the petrol up so we can change it back and knock out the small problems first. I"ll see how confident I am that he'll make it.

It's not all the time.. Only sometimes.. Like this afternoon when someone was watching me come in the driveway and it stalled. Then I started it again and the revs started goin from like 100rpm to 800rpm and then I just kept revving it till i got in the driveway, got out, slammed the door, put the alarm on and left him have his little tantrum. It used to do it and then that problem was fixed, but I can't remember what it was.

Sinbad stalls at sets of lights when coming to a stop. The revs just drop and keep dropping till it's stalled. Somethings seriously wrong here.

I know this.. my car has never liked running on ultimate, hence why i've always used optimax. But i thought i would try something different after it was tuned...

Charly, I'll let you know what's wrong with mine. I'm hoping it's somehting simple like the fuel being changed. My car never liked running on ultimate in the first place. But i thought I'd try it again. Someone did mention water being in the fuel? or the TPS being sticky. It seems to be ok on WOT, it's just when you are cruising along that it chucks a spaz. It's really annoying me. Feels like I'm actually driving a tractor now.

Not sure what it's problem is Paul. I've even stumped my mechanic with it's symptons. It feels like it's misfiring while driving along.. but chugging. Like your turning the aircon on and off and it just doesn't feel normal while your driving it. NOTE TO SELF. Dont let andrew borrow the car again.
