  1. You have mentioned others. If you "don't want to bring this up"; why did you?
  2. Agreed....... Sorry Justin, i still find your story hard to beleive. I've been to Centreline, many times for different things, Chris is currently sorting out a set of coil-overs for my car, and i have had nothing but top class work at good prices. It's strange how almost every person that works on your car f**ks it up or rips you off ; even though many others have never had issues using the same business. If you still have concerns/issues, (and you obiously do) why not approach Chris and ask for clarification on what was done in those 30mins
  3. Happy B'day buddy!!! I wont let a little pussy stop me coming to your b'day bash this year
  4. Oops Really need to start reading the full title.
  5. Do you know how hot it will be on Friday, especially at Winton? I wouldn't want to do that kind of punishment to my car on such a hot day The heat will also effect the car's performance, handling and times
  6. Is this your add? Ebay Ad

    Deca Review

Thanks Martin for the vids, they were great!!
  8. Those headlights are pretty bad and I have seen various EL Falcons, etc, fail roadworthy in similar or worse condition. As previously posted, try to use cutters and buff the headlights, but remove them off the car first and take care not to burn the plastic. Windscreen can simply be polished off, by a professional glass polisher. Tail light is tricky as you have a moisture issue, thus have a build up of dirt/grime inside the light assembly.
  9. Pm replied. If you can get better quality pics i would really appreciate it.
  10. Interested in this item but have a few questions. If the cooler is only 5000km, old why is the bottom so battered? Did you buy it brand new? Are you willing to ship to Melb, with postage insurance?

    Deca Review

Another greatly successful and fun DECA!! Thanks to all who gave up their time to make the event run smoothly. I loved my newly gained response and torque; probably a little too much . A little hairy moment on the back-track when the ass end got light over the crest and directed me off road. Kept a level head, eased off the power and steered into the dirt then after about 50m eased the car back on the black and got back into it. Hopefully by next DECA i'll have my suspension sorted. Thanks Martin for the clips, they look great!!

    My New Re-tune

Mine is one of the biggest in the range, i paid about $150 for it.

    My New Re-tune

Hey Phil, the exhaust is a fair bit louder, but not too drowny. My previous exhaust was made by the local exhaust shop, they did a good job. I honestly think the quality of the cat was causing the lose off power, as the two mufflers and resonator where pretty much straight through. Daniel:
  15. I now have one bed available for Sat. night. Dave had to drop out, due to family matters. Call me on 0427 076490; as i probably will not log on tomorrow.

    My New Re-tune

Thanks guys! Picked it up today and boy did i enjoy it The delivery is very smooth, but sharp/fast. Definately noticed the differance in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, the rev limiter just comes on so quickly , can't wait for DECA and the coming cruises. SS8 Gohan: I truely beleive at least 90% of the gain is from the exhaust, but i have seen other cars just change pods to BMC and gained about 3-5rwkw across the curve. BMC filters are top quality and aren't cheap, apparently they are used in the F1 cars, they have great flow and filter very well. Jetdat: Very interesting! As you know i am using the smaller brother (gtrs) so that would probably explain the steep curve. But i also have tomei poncams and head porting, which is probably why i am making the same power and more usable power; as the power is bought on earlier and is held longer. Not sure how much boost you are running but mine peaks at 18.5psi, then tappers down to 16psi buy the time it makes peak power.
  18. PM tmc_2 as he may have bought a spare one to make up the numbers.

    My New Re-tune

Thanks guys, i'm grinning from ear to ear!! Nick: Both runs were done with the HKS GTRS turbo, running approx 18psi. But i now have a small issue with boost control, that will be sorted in time.

    My New Re-tune

Got the dyno results, pretty pleased but i think there is a little more in it. The differance is GREAT though. Here are the B4 and after graphs. B4 (red) = Previous exhaust and K&N pod After (blue) = New exhaust and BMC pod Power: (Average of about 20-30rwkw gain throughout the mid range) Torque: (Over 1000N of tractive torque gained at 122km/h ) Need a new boost controller as the factory solinoid is unable to keep the boost steady with the wolf controlling it . So once this is done, i will get a final tune. Boost drops to about 16psi at peak, but is a little wavey all the way through.
  21. USE THE SEARCH BUTTON!!! *Waits for the counter attack
  22. If that's clean, it only means the 'line hasn't lived in there for a while
  23. All beds taken, for my room, on Friday and Saturday.
  24. Very nice car there buddy! Hope to see it at a cruise, event, etc. Upgrade brakes (min.: gtr brembos with slotted rotors, decent pads, and motul RBF600 brake fluid), coil-overs, sway bars, bushes, etc. You have plenty of power, but it is useless without the tools that puts the power to the ground reliably. If you have two cars and the same budget: Car 1 gets the engine, power, ecu mods Car 2 gets the braking, handling, ecu mods - Car 2 will always be quicker (and safer) on the track and on the streets. Don't mean to sound like an asshole, as the work has been very well done and the car looks awesome, but you need to consider spending money on handling b4 getting more power. I thrilled mates that have 400+rwkw skylines with my 250rwkw line as my braking and handling is ALOT better.
