  1. Don't really like that type of badge, hope the new ones are not like that
  2. I was not talking about guard liners i was talking about pulling out the metal guard itself. It unfortunately happened to me not to long ago, my guards are also rolled, and i was using my 17" rims at the time. When i measured the "centre of hub" to arch clearance (after it happened) i was shocked to see 332mm, as i thought the front was higher, this explained why the tyre cought the gaurd. Front now sits at 350mm with rears at 340mm.
  3. I have one bed available for someone staying for Friday night only 2 others singles for friday and saturday are pending confirmation.
  4. Edit: Ignore just read the first post again
  5. Just be carefull going too low, as the tyres will start rubbing. In a worse case sinario, the tyre may "grab" the gaurd, pulling the lip out and damaging gaurd and tyre.
  6. I see the cops presance as a good thing. Shows them that not all "hoon" cars are hoons. When i worked at Calder, cops/tmu would often drive in and have a look, just to see what cars are racing.
  7. Thanks for the heads up Troy. Looks like i may need to buy a second set of 17's, just to put cheapo tyres on.
  8. No idea what you are refering too I just fitted my HKB boss kit, and i have no clue what you're talking about.
  9. 6 months late Have a look at the dates
  10. I have recently fitted R33 GTR Brembos and rotors to my R33 gts-t. The package fits easily behind my 19's, and have no issues there, but occationally i like to fit my std rims for motokahnas, etc. If i used 20mm spacers to clear the extra width of the Brembo, will the diametre of the rotor and calipers fit inside the 16" rim? Thanks Alan
  11. CONGRATULATIONS ANDREW!!!! Hope little Bridget and mum are both well.
  12. Damn Matt, sorry to hear buddy. Glad to read that you're ok and the car is not too badly damaged. All the best!
  13. The rain only lasted 1min, it's all dry again. I think that is how the whole day will be, rains for a min, then drys up. Weather radar shows minimal rain. Click Here Look round Melton/Sunbury
  14. Just started raining here (near Calder) Hope this still goes on; any updates from the wrx forums?
  15. Definately put a good quality octane booster, not the cheap shit from the servo, but even that is better than nothing.
  16. Only you (and maybe Mav) would do something so stupid and such a hot night
  17. So what you doing to it?

    Shell V-power

The guy wasn't a freak You will kill your car if you use normal unleaded (91ron) and push it at the same time. I know of one person that blew his engine after pushing the car with 91ron. Another mate decided to save some money, till he heard the pinging come from the engine.
  19. Just dawned on me i am looking for 2 x 400R rear bars, with pods, and possibly one pair of 400R side skirts. Can you supply these; to the same standard of quality as on your car? If you wish you can PM me PS: I still would have left the black headlights fitted, till the custom ones wher made . And we all want pics of the custom ones fitted
  20. I have already booked a room Thanks Bec!
  21. It's all the "Hoons", they caused this fire with their burnouts and exhaust flames
  22. PICS!!!! I love the classics too.
  23. *cough* *cough* Nice! Just noticed, why the 4door headlights (chrome). I personally would have stuck with the black surround of the 2door headlights, to match the c/f pieces. Stick with the theme: Black and orange, the chrome headlights make it look bling when the car is themed for a "race look" . Looking at your sig, the car looked much better with black surround headlights! Just had a brain fart: Disassemble the headlights and c/f the suround , then reassemble. Will look sweeeeeeeeet!
