LED's use less current, thus less load. There is a device/curcuit that controlls the flash rate (looks like a solinoid), due to the less load it blinks faster, just like if a bulb was blown, i'm pretty sure these solinoids can be replaced with a differant rated item. Just have a vague idea, but am not sure

I bought mine through this guy on e-bay and i highly recommend the item. The leather is great: thin and soft and the fit is excellent too. When i first received the item, the gear boot had an small imperfection (looked like a fine cut, but didn't go through the leather), i wrote to him and explained the situation, he sent another one out without even asking for the boot to be sent back. I have seen others and they look like an indian tent, due to the poor quality stiff leather Just my 2c

Me too! Much prefer what you have done. The first Skyline i was about to buy was that colour, but the guy didn't want to budge one cent off his asking price, so i moved on.

Allan, your question is on the money. VIV are responsible for checking the quality of work/parts used to repair a written off vehicle. Due to the extent of the damage it is understandable that the Victorian government would not like "patched-up" cars hitting the market. Thus every aspect of the vehicle's measurements have to be within factory tolarance and i believe only certain panel shops can approve/complete the work. Asking for invoices of parts purchased should not be a big deal. Any w/shop can state they replaced blah, blah, blah........... but VIV wants proof of the replaced parts. Pablo: You asking for "someone that knows people at VIV" raises a few questions of the legitamisy of the job .

Unless the car has had a respray (like you have stated) that colour usually comes in a 2-tone paint job (blue and grey), is that how yours originally was?
