  1. Pics of the SR20 items are useless I have seen a decent plenum casting for the sr20 and a very crappy version for the rb25; both from the same manufacturer That is why i would prefer someone to inspect the sample first, otherwise i'll happily give it a miss.
  2. We would want to see the quality of the items first. No point putting a deposit on an item that has been poorly casted. Tell her to get the items in, then to contact you to arrange for one of us to go and inspect the plenum. I believe the Autotechnica distribution warehouse is not too far from my place. Get the details and an address and i will be happy to view the items, before we make a deposit.
  3. So are the coil-overs, from the look of things, but damn it looks sleek
  4. Black rims on silver cars look tough!
  5. Just went doctor's today, i have some kind of viral infection , which explains why i have been feeling crap.
  6. The "shiny stuff" is water, but you start the burnout just after it
  7. I am still not 100% Those mexician beers, with a shot of tacquella, are most probably responsable , but damn they taste good.

    It's A Boy!

Still not firing on all cylinders after last nights bash
  9. You obviously have never been to the drags Unlike the local hooning activities, there is NO oil on the ground. Also the track is prep'ed for traction, then add a pair of slicks and the task becomes harder. Also factory in the fact that i never before done such burnouts, while lightly applying the brakes.

  13. Your answer is only a phone call away, just call your local RTA.
  14. Why are we trying to make them when there are so many cheap versions out there. For me this is not a priority, so i cnbf looking, but will be interested in buying, if someone (keener than myself) finds a decent one for a fair price. $100-$150 is rediculous PS: Nissan also want $2500+ for a geniune R33 GTR fmic, will you also pay that price?
  15. Happened to me too At least it high-lighted the viewed pics
  16. Started in 1st gear then tried to shift into 2nd. Sometimes it worked other times the car died (i was too slow) . Pete made a valid point (after i completed my final run ); that i should start my burnout in 2nd, as the wheels stop spinning btw shifts. Not to mention the tyre would be wet and colder at the start of the burnout. Will try it at Calder

    Happy Birthday Bec

Happy B'day Bec!! Hope you had a good one, and hope to catch up on Sat. night!!
  18. Will try to make it! Anyone got some spare "crashing" space on the floor?
  19. Thanks Pete! Unfortunately you panned off to Ben's Datto when i did a 1/2 decent burnout , but i don't blame ya, that Datto is supa cool Thanks Tharaka! I don't think i did badly for a first timer at stand still burn outs, should do better next time
  20. Not to mention, the great advantages of factory style cold start, idle, a/c, etc. This is good if your ecu is able to be chipped, but the amount of tunners are highly limited. (ie: Sam is going interstate to tune customer's ecu's) This limited amount of tunners, may lead to higher prices per tune, not sure though, so please no flaming .
  21. Wouldn't she need a rest?
  22. Hey Kaz, Heathcote on Saturday and i'll have to get back to you for Sunday, as the folks have aready started placing their requests .
  23. Great to hear Graeme!! So when do the lights and 2-way get fitted?
  24. Isn't that what i have stated already? Do you have any thoughts for a solution?
