Nam was i the only one cought by surprise and shitting myself, when a cop walked between our two cars and asked you to "move the car unless you wanted a ticket"? Then to see a cop car heading to the same spot, as the whole group of Skylines were turning left at that round-about That's about as much trouble we had with law enforcement. To be fair, i was having trouble with my GPS freezing and Nam was double parked beside me, on the main street, as he was helping me out . Not the best thing to do when you're a block away from the Police station.

If there was a bright red R33 followed by 8 other Skylines, that would have been us; between Colac and Geelong.By the time i saw you and realised it was another 33, i was almost too late to wave hi. Weren't you supposed to meet up with us in Point campbell?

That's Ben's (TOPG34R). That's his first Skyline and he only picked it up on Thurday or was it Friday. Very nice 34R!

What an awesome weekend!!! Had so much fun! Thanks to all that came and made the cruise worthwhile. Even though half the people piked, we still had 23 cars for Day 1 and about 8 cars on Day 2. BIG applause for "top effort" goes to Beza, who gave me a call at 8pm saying that he finally fixed his car and was leaving Knox to join us at Apollo Bay; he arrived at 11:45pm. Day 2 was wet, cold and windy, but still incredibly fun. Not as much traffic to contend with and some awesome roads after Apollo Bay. Thanks again to all that attended, hope you all enjoyed the weekend and see you at the next one. PICS look great!

My deepest heartfelt condolences Ferah, for you and both families involved. If there is anything you need, don't hesitate to drop us as line or give me a call.

Correct, but good to see you finally follow Forum regulations and post up a price. If you had posted a price to begin with, my post wouldn't have happened -

With a good lawyer he "may" get off the speeding charge, but pretty doubtful as he broke a few other laws. If police are patrolling your street, there is good reason, and your mate just justified their presence. Do the crime, pay the fine, do the time

Thanks all. Really happy with how it worked out. House has a double brick garage, with plenty of room to build a decent tin shed at the back. In time I'll be fitting a rear roller door, to the garage, but that's the only thing this house is missing.

For the others.......... Well good news! They say things happen for a reason and this has just proved it. Due to this event, i went to another 5 house inspections, the weekend after, and found 3 others i liked. By Monday i had inspected a property for the 2nd time and placed an offer. On Tuesday the offer was accepted and settlement date is in 80 days from today. For $15,000 extra (but still within my budget), this property has the following "extra" over the property in the first post: - 50% more land: 600m^2 as apposed to 400m^2 - study - Theater room - Evaporative cooling - Ducted Vacuuming - Bar (in lounge room) - Wooden floor boards, throughout the house. As a bonus the following "extra" items will remain in the house on settlement: - Hi-end projector - Huge projector screen - Bar fridge - Dishwasher To say i am happy is an understatement The real-estate agent dealing with this property was tops; no BS, no head farks, just straight and honest. I had no issues with getting a building and pest inspection done and the contract was drawn accordingly. I also messaged the owner of the first property, stating that i had bought another property, but was still willing to write a statement/explanation of what had occurred; should she decide to take the issue further. Thanks to everyone who posted helpful information, it was/is greatly appreciated!!

"if its cheap its usually for a reason" Agreed, most the time. "i just figure they are jap cars and who else would know what parts make them perform better than the people that built them" Bullshit The Japanese people that make aftermarket parts did not build the cars I like using both Aussie and Jap made parts, depends on what it is. Example: ECU - Wolf3D. Made in VIC, Australia. Has more features and controls than the Pfc, have local service, information and software update supports, works very well (when tuned by a Wolf trained tuner).

Firstly: You have an rb25det, not dett. All rb25's have one turbo. You may have gone backwards with the pod. I would have personally gone a good panel filter, that fits in the std airbox, as a pod just sucks warm air in the engine bay, unless you have it partitioned with a cold air intake. Pods are not "all the same", so you need to do a bit of research. Cheap ones can actually restrict air-flow or even worse, not filter the air properly, causing pre-mature wear and tear on the turbo. Same as exhausts. Just because it is not load does not mean it doesn't flow as good. But like everything in life, you get what you pay for; so cheap is not always better. I would have personally waited till a good 2nd hand item became available, and spend half the price for a quality item. Being cat-back still has a major restriction. Just remember; anything flows as good as it's smallest restriction. The smallest restriction in your exhaust is the cat, followed by the front/dump pipe. Change these as well and you'll free up some good kw, and also the exhaust note will change and be a fair bit louder/deeper.

Your mate smashed it, then he bought it. Get him to buy you another car of equivalent value and he could worry about what to do with this car, that's not to say you can't help him. If he doesn't agree to that, he is not much of a "mate", so then take him to court. When it comes to money, you'll soon find out who is a genuine mate and who isn't. These kind of situations have a tendency to break friendships, as the party responsible usually tries to think of every way to pass responsibility and even part payment/blame to the owner. This is why i never drive someone elses car without full comp. Good luck!

Proxes 4 doesn't comes close, but traction is not a real big issue for 4wd

If so, i apologize. There should be an Autech build plate with a number; if so take a pic, so that potential buyers know it's genuine.
