Powder coating rims is the best option. I've had mine done over a year now and they are still perfect, apart from one........................... They don't like to be scrapped on brick pillars
Powder coat colour on my rims: Precious Steel Perl (satin)
I had these done for $120 for all 4, no prep work was required as rims where in good condition.
I just got my track rims done in the same colour, but gloss. They do look a little shinnier, but the finish isn't as "smooth", hard to explain, smooth isn't really the right word. The gloss is only a clear powder coat over the satin, as there is an additional layer, up close the coat looks a little ripply, almost like "orange peel" in paint finishes but not as fine . The track rims where $150 for all 4.
Yawn: Car look very nice, but lower that ass end, your not driving a Kingswood
Just noticed your from Melb. Your more than welcome to come down an fit my track rims onto one side of your car, just to see if you like the colour. Let me know via PM, if you are interested.
