    Happy Birthday Al

THANKS TO ALL!! Yet another year has gone past and looking forward for more to come. Friday night will be a subtle one, learnt from my mistakes from D4D , but Saturday night will be a ripper . I'm sure it will be a top night, can't wait. Just picked my car from the mechanic, had the JJ radiator installed and the KAAZ diff oil changed; car is now ready To those coming to DECA, i'll see ya all during the weekend, to everyone else have a good weekend. Al
  3. I purchased the ecu from EAS Performance, Airport West (PM me for more details) and yes they have done all the tunning on the car. It is now running smoothly and am very happy with the results If you live in the East, go to Sabaddin (PM silva33 for address). He is also a Wolf distributor and have seen some very good tunes on various cars and ecu's.
  4. Better: engineering, turbo's, intercoolers, dump pipes, etc. If you still dubt it, look in HPI issue 51 PS: If i had to choose between a R32 or R33 GTR, i would personally go for the R32. I love my 33 GTST, and chose a 33 over a 32 GTST, but when it comes to GTRs i always prefered the 32.
  5. PM ylwgtr2, his work is tops and his shop is based in Tullamarine. He is a very busy man so not sure if he has the time. GALs Smash Repair are also good, in Tullamarine as well
  6. Photoshop is your friend
  7. That's a huge accident, hope you are ok Good luck
  8. *sigh*Read the previous posts ppl. I am sure he wants a price as much as you do. No bloody point asking the same damn questions every second day. Once he gets the price, he will post it up, just be a little patient.
  9. Great work guys!!! The courses look absolutely AWESOME!!
  10. Very noice!!!
  11. Nope....R33's never been sold in Australia, but a few dealerships in VIC have a full parts list. And NISSAN Australia, storage have heaps of new import Nissan parts. I dare say you will need to wait 2 weeks for this part to come from Japan . Just need to find a dealership that is willing to chase up the part. PS: i purchased a NEW pair of R33 front indicators from a NISSAN dealership and they were cheaper than a second hand pair from a well known Sydney import wrecker . They also had them in stock at the distribution centre: Ordered them at 8am and picked them up at 3:30pm, that same day
  12. Mine's definitely a female prostie . Adorned in prostitute red, with black boots, only comes out on weekends and I stick my boot into her if she comes out off line . Oh, and I’m happy to share her with my mates .
  13. Nissan Dealer
  14. Time to get a Whiteline "handling pack" You wont regrete it!!
  15. Grey rims look awesome But looks like you prefer the gold (looks at avatar ). As others have stated it is only your preferance that counts. I have used 19's on my car for 4yrs and have had no problem at all, but tyres are more expensive and you do loose a little torque (inertia). Here is a pic of my car, i wouldn't go much lower as it will scrap the gaurd liners.
  16. At that power level yes, flow is very important, and i agree with you. But we are talking about a mild turbo here and i beleive that the stock manifold (slightly ported) will easily cope with 330rwkw, and changing to a top-mount/aftermarket manifold below this power rating is almost useless. Back on topic: You mentioned a 3" cat, is it a hi-flow item? Drop the exhaust and do a test on the dyno, just to make sure the cat, etc is not restricting flow
  17. Agreed!!!There are plenty of good Pfc tunners in Sydney. It pays to pay more for a tune sometimes
  18. NO NEED FOR A TOP MOUNT OR ANY OTHER MANIFOLD! I made 276rwkw, using a modified rb25 hi-flow, with the std manifold just match-ported to the head.
  19. Not sure what type of HKS turbo you have, but what is it rated too? Why are you only concerned about peak power? So what if you only made 30rwkw more at peak, were you spend 3% of the time while driving . LOOK AT YOUR MID-RANGE BUDDY , it is farkin awesome, compaired to your previous tune. At 4500rpm you make a wooping 60rwkw more!!! That is a PHAT increase . How much boost are you running, on the final graph? If you have more than 18psi, you may have reached the limit of you current turbo, and to get more power requires an upgrade. But more power means more lag, do you really need it? I am a little concerned with your a/f ratios b4 5500rpm, they seem too lean. My tune has been made to sit at about 11.7:1, from the moment it reaches 14psi@3200rpm til read line. Best to keep it a little rich on a std bottom end Have you tried to drop your exhaust b4 the cat? This will show you if the exhaust system is a restriction. Do you have a full turbo-back 3" exhaust system? Has you mechanic placed restricters in you boost line, to increase the boost?
  20. So what is achieved by using this simulator? As you wont be able to get a a/f ratio reading or hear pinging, etc. Just want to know its advantages

    What A Day!

Hit them for everything!!! You try to be nice, polite and reasonable and they spit in your face !!! They could claim what they want, only the facts are important, and the facts say you are in the right. If you have full comp, let you insurance handle everything, they will fix your car (without adding a claim against your policy) and then sue the owners, of the dogs, for the full amount of the reapir.
  22. $399 for a complete fmic kit is flippin' CHEAP!!!! You honestly can't go wrong

    New To The Club

Welcome buddy. Hope your ride bring an abundance of enjoyment , she looks sweet!
  24. When i first installed the Tomei poncam, my mechanic and an aircraft engineer did some calculations and ended up using 2deg on the ex. cam. After a few weeks i went back and insisted to set it back to 0deg, as a test. My reasoning; as an aftermarket cam they would be designed to perform at their best at zero degrees (ie: no adjustable cams required). He set it to zero and retuned the car, ending up with an over-all improvement across the whole rev range. Hence why i asked the intial question
  25. Is the adj. exhaust cam set to 0deg? Did you dyno it on the same dyno? 240rwkw with hi-flow and std cams sounds high , maybe the figure is more accurate now. Does the car feel slower? Also: You stated that you had a HKS mushroom filter, have you checked the compressor wheel of the turbo. Those filters aren't the best and tend to allow shit into the turbo. If the wheel is slightly damaged, this will have an affect on performance.
