Is this the same GTR that had a lucky escape at Calder Park, on a WRX track day, in Feb? If not, i also remember seeing another very neat silver 34GTR at Sandown. To activate HICAS diagnostic mode you need to turn steering right/left 10 times in the space of 15sec (something like that). Had to do it myself to install the Tomei HICAS lock kit. Trust me, it's very hard to accidentally get into hicas diagnostic, as it took me a few times to purposely activate it, also the HICAS light will flash when in diagnostic mode.

Bit harsh there Phil, he may own that R34GTR. Feel sorry for the owner, but that is why i don't like towing cars on hired trailers, that are not properly maintained. I have seen this too many times, to take the risk. I drive a Ford, does that make me a dumb-ass too? (retorical question no need for answers thanks ). My Ford comes free. NO! As Ash has stated; WASTE OF MONEY! The more stock you make it look the less hassles you have. Ther is absolutely no gain to make this turbo hi-mount and ext. gate. I really hope you mechanic is not feeding you this info to squeeze more money from you, if so go to another w/shop Just ask them to match port the ext. manifold, to improve flow.

I am still hoping to stay Saturday night, just to make it a really good drinking weekend . I know a couple of other people may be interested, all depends on the numbers. Not many people "really" goes crazy on Friday night as we all wake up early and have a long fun day the next morning. Saturday has ALWAYS been the party night, so why break tradition.
