  1. Sold Thanks for your interest, rims picked up today, 28/07/06
  2. If you where to purchase a R33 GTR A/C control unit, it will fit in the middle as it does not have the corner missing like the Gts-t's. You can even buy the GTR three gauge cluster and have it modified with your gauges of choice, inserted. This would also maintain the OEM look. Don't think it is really that hard. The Factory head unit has a plate on either side that can also screw into you new head unit.
  3. Thanks for that Troy. I have edited my previous post, not to confuss anyone Just expand on the hydrolic lock question. If unburnt fuel (no spark) is able to escape through the exhaust valve, why not water?
  4. Good point.... Time to ask an expert I still say, turn the key to off

  6. Provided it is in a "controlled" environment
  7. Unfortunately i am no tyre expert, just learnt through asking and experience. What Munkyb0y wrote is spot on, but with 17's i do run 36-38psi.
  8. Just turn the ignition key to "off" .
  9. 40psi is also an accepted tyre pressure for 18's/19's
  10. The only thing that could cause the engine to rev is jammed accelerator cable or jammed throttle body. Make sure the cable is not frayed, or does not have resistive tendancies as you let go of the peddle (maybe frayed within the insulation conduate). Best to have a mate inside the car pressing acc on/off and you looking in engine bay. Make sure that nothing is obstructing or can obstruct the cable and throttle body. Remove the inlet pipe and cable from the throttle body, insure the shutter moves freely and smoothly. Ensure that all screws, fittings, etc are tight. Check that the return spring is operating correctly and in a fast manner. May help to post pics of your throttle body and cable, from various angles (top, sides, front, back, etc.)
  11. What state do you live in? If in Vic i can lend you my AFM.
  12. Contact Troy, ylwgtr2
  13. Either way Pete you can not claim credit for that piece of work, the honor goes to Leewah, for his lack of driving abilities
  14. No need to say thanks
  15. Congrates buddy! Hope to see ya around soon.
  16. We have just dummied an rb26 rail on a RB25 head and unfortunately the std plenum fouls on the rail. I am trying to install top feed, low impedance injectors to my R33 RB25, while maintaining a "stockish" appearance. We are trying to overcome some obstacles and if this problem is solved will be in touch. Thank-you for all your offers (most via PM) and appreciate your time. Regards Alan
  17. Thanks, will let you know in a day or two.
  18. Is this a serious question? : At 60km/h you will start braking soon, manover at a slower speed, will probably not loose traction, and either stop b4 hitting dog or manover around it safely. If you seriously had to ask this question, best pull out you pushy and leave the 'line in the garage, we will all be alot safer.
  19. I have 19's, but with the same tyre profile you use.
  20. Need to post up a price.
  21. There is a screw located at the rear of the steering wheel on the bottom of the cover. Remove the screw (med. Phillips head), pull lower part of cover slightly up towards you and push whole cover up towards the roof. Note: Cover is only held on by the two clips on the top and the one screw on the bottom. Pics now included:
  22. What makes you "think" you are a good driver?Doing 116km/h in a residential area, where numerous uncertainties can occur, resulting in harm and possible death to innocent victims. Scenario: You travelling at 116km, stray dog runs out, into your path, you brake, swerve, loose control, smash through a fence, and end up stationary in a couple’s bedroom with one person dead. All because you "think" you are some shit hot driver that has had X amount of lessons. From all those lessons you still didn't learn the most important rule, "Defensive Driving": Never trust other drivers, pedestrians, animals, etc, to do the right thing. Always expect the unexpected and drive according to the conditions and your surroundings. Lost of lic. for 19months, great one less idiot on the road! PS: In Germany only the Autobahn is "unlimited", that's only one huge stretch of tarmac that is super smooth. They also have low speed restrictions in residential areas. The quality of Australian roads is shit, and the standard of registered cars leaves much to be desired. I don't claim to be some super safe, 100% law abiding driver, that never speeds, etc, but I wont have a cry and whinge if I get caught breaking the law.
  23. I use 38psi. You can actually damage the tyres, on the inside, from having the pressure too low.
  24. Where is that rule stated? He has stated a price and contact details, has mentioned major mods, if you can afford it and are in the market for a mind blowing R33 GTR, then give Frank a call. Otherwise why should he waste his time to accomodate dreamers..... Good Luck with the sale Frank! Alan
