  1. Do you have std ecu or aftermarket? I have an aftermarket ecu and my cold start requires to be retuned, booked in for next week. Sounds like mine, has to much fuel that will foul up the plugs if not driven once started. You get a 30cm trail of black crap behind the exhaust. Once warm the ecu switches out of "cold start-up" and performs fine. Nothing to worry about, just get the cold start tune rechecked.
  2. Why didn't you pay the little extra for insurance, especially for something so expensive and fragile.
  3. What does finance got to do with rego?
  4. You are not at fault! You also have all the details of the person at fault, you pick the repairer and make sure you pick the best....
  5. Just to make it clear! A VAN with a tyre at the front has RAMMED UP HIS ASS and pushed the boot 2" forward, this is no "tint-a-car" accedental dent! Boot probably should be REPLACED, bumpers and reo removed and tail-gate pulled out into place. This job will easily cost over $1000. If you live in Melb. take it to Gal's Smash Repair in Tulla. They are awesome! Adzmax, Mavric, and others, who live on the eastside, have made the trip because of the quality of work. I know someone that lives near Sale, got his car repaired there. Not sure how long they'll take, as they are pretty busy, but quality takes time and you'll be happier in the long run. PS: Import/compliance shops are NOT pannel/spray shops and generally out-source their repairs for minimal cost, you best use a dedicated paint shop.

    Country Dyno Day

Off topic: SAU Vic are having a DECA Day in Shepparton, on the 27th May, entries are all filled but spectators welcome . Hope to see ya all there!! Gates open ar 9am. If a dyno day is held in Bendigo or Ballarat, i'll make the effort to come up and support the day. Would be great to match faces with names.

    Bodykit Fitted

Fair enough.......... But for the record: The ride quality between 18's and 19's are the same if you use the same profile tyre
  8. Didn't arrive yet, but i left the office at 2pm, so i'll check on Monday.

    Bodykit Fitted

Looks GREAT! Very nice.......... Just need to get the same rims in 19's, would make the car look lower than it really is But very nice as is, congrates
  10. Thanks for the advise, i will follow it up

    Rear Windscreen

My new front windscreen costed me about $270 fitted, so i dare say i would not pay more than $250 for a second hand, unfitted, screen. PM RowdyR32 he "may" be wrecking a 32, or he may have a good idea where to find one. Just shop around...
  12. Couldn't stop laughing when i read this, GOLD. DO IT!!! You know you want to..... You saw my results with a shitty tune, imagine a tune like yours on my engine set-up, it would be awesome. After porting the next step would be bolting up a GT-RS , GREAT response with equal power. Bris is right though; If you remove your head it is best to reco it. The only thing mine needed (it was more a preventative measure) was valve stem seals, the set cost about $330.00.

    Engineering Cert

19's are illegal on ALL Skylines. ADR states that the rolling diameter (tyre included) can not be increased by more than 16mm. When you fit 19's the rolling diameter is increased be 32mm. Have no idea if an engineer can/is allowed to certify this area of modifications. Can't hurt to ask . Just post up your results.
  14. If you like the rims, just get them sand blasted and powder-coated. Shouldn't cost more than $50 per rim.

    Rear Windscreen

Didn't read that But i am sure there are a few 32's in VIC being wrecked.

    Rear Windscreen

Local glaziers do not buy geniune glass replacements from Japan, they are manufactured locally, at least the front one i bought for my 33 was. Ask Nissan, but i think your best bet is to call around and see what is available. Even look at cars that are being dismantled; silva33 is wrecking a 33, may be worth sending him a pm (if you have a R33 ).
  17. So do i ............................But unfortunately she's not any of the above
  18. The link has been provided. Kaz do you what to bare the financial resposibility when the owner of a w/shop sues SAU for slander?
