  1. The install and trimming of the bar can be alot more neater than that (no offence).

Does this happen every year, or is it getting worse? I have been to the Nats 4 times, ones with my car as a competitor. Have heard of the police, epa, rta, doing checks but never seen them, apart from the usual police presence. The only thing that has happened was my mate, in his XA coupe, was db tested. Every year i have at least 4 friends competing in the Nats and this was the only check-up.
  4. If you have the money this is THE ULTIMATE BANG FOR BUCK! Not sure if it has suspension work, but everything else is done
  5. You really have NO idea, do you??? Congratulations!! (regarding the baby) Good Luck with the sale. If i didn't spend so much money on my 33 i would have flown up for a serious inspection. R32 with an RB25 NEO is the ultimate !
  6. You can get an Apexi boost gauge at your door for $145
  7. READ the first post, the quote is from JUST CARS..........
  8. Sorry, at that price i'm out too

  10. I have found the Apexi Boost gauge to be great. But i was considering getting 3 cheap gauges, for temp and pressure, for $220 or the DEFI DIN-gauge set for $600. I know Defi are accurate and will last for years. But i am thinking; even if the cheap ones are inacurate, you only need to know where they usually sit and be worried if this changes. But now i read that these cheap gauges do alter their readings with time . Is this the case for both mechanical and electric gauges? As i am only getting the electrical type.
  11. There is a clause in most insurance policies stating that you are insured as long as it is legal and roadworthy. Driving a GTR, let alone a modified one, is illegal at aged 19 (in most states anyway). They will still take you insurance payments, but if you have an accident they may decide to not pay you, as you where driving the car illegally. Just something to consider...........
  12. Incorrect.. 1.5way still lock up under decel, depending on the force transfered to the diff.
  13. Lets not get started abouts it's awesome fuel economy At today's prices; $25 will get you an average of 450km
  14. I think 65rwkw, BUT only weighs about 700kg A typical standard-ish R33 has a power(rw) to weight ratio of about 9.3kg/kw This Cappacino has a power(rw) to weight ratio of about 10.7kg/kw So it wont bet a R33 in a straight line, but on the track and motokana's it is a different story (due to it's size and low centre of gravity). PS: It has only been on the track ONCE, but was overtaking a few typical R33's  Note: power(rw) = power reading taken from the rear wheels
  15. Hi Jayce, Wont be coming up this year , going to the Phillip Island Hot Rod / Nostalgia (sp?) show . Would have been great to meet up with you all again, espically now that my car is back on the road. A whole list of mods have been added this year and i probably would have entered the SummerNats if i was to come up. Oh well, there is always next year . Have a great weekend and see ya next time.
  16. That GTR is a PIG! If that's what you can afford I would not even consider it. Photos always look better than real life, and there are many things wrong with that car. The dealer claims no rips on seats, so why take a photo of the passenger seat and not the driver's seat . Anyway....... Personally I would go an immaculate R32 GTS-T (preferably with an rb25 conversion ), an immaculate R33 GTS-T, or the WRX. How about a Subaru Legacy GT-B (twin turbo) Shameless Plug.............. If you want something different my mate has a mildly modified Suzuki Cappuccino, for sale. Being sold due to a new business venture, needed a car that could carry goods. 3-cyl, turbo, rwd, hardtop->Targa->Full convertible, 2 seater, small sized car  Has upgraded Suzuki Motorsport: ECU, Injectors & Turbo. With a Blitz BOV and hi-flow exhaust system. PM me if you are interested.
  17. I honestly really like both sets. I usually like dark rims, but the silver rims with dish look great too. Have the best of both worlds, powder coat the spokes of the dished rims charcol/black and leave the dish polished .
  18. If VDO's electrical gauges looked like their mechanical gauges i would have bought a set.
  19. Otherwise known to everyone else as "Hub Rings"

  25. Have the closer look at the dipshit behind the wheel. As he brings on the power he jerks the wheel almost sending the car off the rollers . Funny to see him shit himself then decide to hold the wheel with both hands
