  1. There are a few issues that may cause this, the most common have already been mentioned. Others: - Old graphic EQ's - Cheap head units - Faulty Amps (Dry soldier joints) - Multiple devices with various ground points, causing an earth loop. - Noisy Alternator - And a few others Good Luck!
  2. NEVER disconnect your battery while car is running, as there is a good chance that the alternator will fry itself. Replace the battery, very common for Skylines to require new batteries after purchase. As the battery went flat, this may have reset a hidden turbo timer. Have a good look under the dash, doesn't hurt to contact the previous owner to ask if there is a timer.
  3. I would say so. My mate has a Suzzuki Cappacino, and they had the windscreen in stock. So i dare say the a A31 Cerfiro is very likely. PS: His windscreen costed about $950 fitted, lucky for him Shannons Insurance has a "one free windscreen replacement, per year" policy
  4. "HUB RINGS" When you remove the rim, in the middle of the disks/studs there is a circular lip. If the diameter of this lip is smaller than the diameter in the rims, then the wheel can move off centre, causing it to vibrate. If you need a good wheel place, i highly recommend Bob Jane T-mart, at Watergardens S/C. Speak to Mark and ask him to check if you need a set of hub rings on your rims. I just got a set for my rims (my rings are plastic). They also ballance the inner and outer of the rims
  5. Most major windscreen replacement companies have new glass in stock. Expect to pay about $300-$400 fitted, which i was happily surprised with. Just look in the yellow pages . The only name that comes to mind is Windsreen O'Brian, but i used someone else, and there are heaps of other suppliers.
  6. If you are going to stick with factory rev limiter, shotpeened rods are adiquate, but if you plan to rev the engine harder thin get a new set of rods. Replacing rods bolts is a must, get ARP rod bolts. N1 oil pump and oil cooler is also highly recommended. It goes without saying that you are getting the block x-rayed and crack tested, internals checked, ballanced and blue-printed.
  7. To what are you refering to? Fuel pump - Bosch, Wallbro (??) FPR - Nismo, Malpassi Injectors - Nismo, SARD, Bosch, HKS
  8. A oil catch can, will patch up the problem till you can afford to fix the fault properly.
  9. The GCG hi-flow is definately your best option. Roller-bearing core and upsized steel wheels

PM ALLBLITZ. He is a SAU trader and has sold me one. All these wings need to be touched up, but are well worth it
  11. Use the "SEARCH" button, heaps of helpful info as this topic has been discussed countless times. Also with a turbo upgrade, you will need: - fuel pump - injectors - progamable ecu (Wolf3D, Power fc, etc) - HD clutch - And a few others i've probably forgotten.
  12. Who is tunning your Pfc? Sounds like it has a badly tuned idle. Also check for vaccum/air leaks as this can play with the idle. Any problems while off idle? If not most likely the tune needs to be adjusted.
  13. You'll also need: - Fuel pump - Injectors - Fuel pressure regulator You may be able to find someone that can retune the std ecu and eliminate the boost/fuel/speed cuts.
  14. Any chance of some interior pic, looks like a pretty serious cage. Awesome car, if it is yours
  15. If you are going for a bigger turbo, and there are plenty on the market that fit in the std location, you will need to upgrade the following: - injectors - ecu - fmic - fpr (fuel pressure regulator) - exhaust - oil & water lines, to the turbo May have missed a couple, but it certainly is not as cheap exercise. All the best!
  16. Can i come and have a close look at all the Stagea's?.....................please And how come there are no Stagea's in the SAU VIC club?
  17. That honor belongs to you Not sure what i said to have a go at me, but learn to read and comprehend. Nothing worse than a keyboard worrior that doesn't know what he is talking about. Strich9, since your are obviously a little slow, i will re-quote the phrase and highlight it for you

    Strongly agreed!
  19. That looks awesome, hopefuly the inside is as clean as the outside. Gotta bring it to the next SAU GM
  20. Great! At the moment i am still deciding between your $200 gauge set or the original $600 Defi DIN-gauge. Is it possible to get 1xoil temp, 2xoil pressure? Then use one of the oil pressure gauges to measure fuel pressure??
  21. Nah... First part of my previous post was aimed at SteveL's reply
  22. I have not seen grown business men "fishy" up the street (from a stopped position) for "100m" with on coming traffic. A slight side step, in the wet, maybe. So b4 you decide to jump on my back learn to "READ" the post and think how "accidental" this type of driving really is. Difference between your charade and our Skylines is that the Charade does not have 100's of young drivers "accidentally fishing up the street", occasionally killing themselves while doing some sort of illegal activates or even glorify their latest act of idiotic driving. Skylines have this reputation and it f**ks it up for the rest of us. Here in VIC, SAU has a good reputation with the local authorities, we have seen them often on cruises, but they have not stopped us. On the other-hand, other clubs that are relaxed about being "hoons" have had police stop and check every vehicle.
  23. When would you get more "oil pressure gauges" ?, as i have no use for a "Air Fuel gauge" of that type?
  24. Geez........ Gotta get a bit technical Usaully spare parts stop production about 10yrs after the last car of that model is manufactured. But Nissan will still have stock available till they run out.
  25. Why the f@#& do i need to do a search on a simple question, it's not like i am starting a thread. Plus we got to get the most out of ya, since you got that SAU award
