  1. > If this happened right after the alarm install, the installer could have mistaken the lamp wire as a ground. It is easily done, i accidentally did this to my mates car, while installing a stereo head unit. When the lamps are off the wire measures as ground, but when you turn the lamps on the fuse blows as wire becomes live. > If you recently installed a head unit - read above > Always replace the fuse with it's correctly marked rating. Fuses are there to protect the wirng, the last thing you want to do is to rewire you car. Hope that helps PS: If you are uncapable of disconnecting your all power wires to your alarm (inc ground), then go back to your installer, as them to disconnect it, replace the fuse and test the lights.
  2. I'll probably see you there Adz, i have started working at Calder Park and have put my name in to work at this event. I usually start the day in Credentials (sign up) and then do something else once that has closed.
  3. FFS! I have my work Christmas party on Saturday night and i am working at the D1 Nationals on Saturday and Sunday morning/arvo.. Would have loved to come to spectate/marshal. There is always next year. If Aaron has bedded in his engine and gives it his all, my bet is on him to top Frank (sorry Frank), so keep an eye on his lap times
  4. I have seen rb25's with 3" exhaust make well over 300rwkw without any issues. Are you talking from experience Paul (ie:seeing it first hand) or from what ppl say on the net?
  5. Nice graph!! Very neat looking car. Which rims are you using as each pic has a different set of rims? That front lip has seen better days
  6. Hey skyman (sorry forgot your name), Met you last Friday at the Calder Park drags, i have the red perl 33 with charcol rims. At what rpm are you experiencing knocking? Looking at you graph, i would say that it is pretty strong, it may have not reached the 250 mark, but i wouldn't be disappointed. Was the turbo brand new? Where did you buy it from? There are so many cheap Chineese products out there, that is currently flooding the market. Hope to catch up at another Calder Drag Day.
  7. Joel did you recieve my PM?
  8. Even if they fitted a rb25 gearbox, it is still a push type clutch.
  9. Great pics Joel, thanks.. Are you by any chance going to make a Deca photo CD?
  10. All the best buddy! Have a Happy B'day! How old?
  11. PM sent
  12. The Wolf3D controls boost, using the factory soleniod and actuator. We are going to be playing with actuators and also other components, mechanic is fairly confident that he could get it spooling faster.
  13. I have heard that a lot of car manufacturers, including Nissan, strongly recommend not to use any fuels with ethonol, as it corrodes the engine.
  14. Do you really know what you are talking about? GTS4 does not mean it is a 4 door, it is a 4wd GTST. Personally, i would prefer the gtst, as i think the rb20det is not torquey enough for the 4wd system and the extra weight. This is only my opinion, others may disagree
  15. shaunr32: $20 ctjet: What part of the title or post could you not understand? Blown: An item that no longer works, thus rendered useless.
  16. Well you unfortunately missed it last weekend, but next one should be in 3 months.
  17. Not good! Will watch out for it.
  18. Thanks Chris
  19. Just a question.. Does that also fit the M-spec bar?
  20. Bec: As previously stated
  21. Still would like to see the results Can they be posted in this thread, as an attachment.
  22. If anyone has a blown/damaged/useless airflow meter they would like to dispose of (or sell cheaply) i would like to take it off your hands . I could buy a good working one for $80, so the broken one should be considerably cheaper than that. No point damaging something that works. At this stage, only looking in Victoria. Thanks Alan
  23. Would have looked better with a copy of the R34 N1 front bar.
  24. That's not his best one Matt.
